HCS EA Deployment Monitor

HCS EA Deployment Monitor is a read-only MetaTrader 5 utility that provides a compact terminal-wide view of which Expert Advisors are attached across your open MT5 charts.

Instead of checking charts individually, Deployment Monitor automatically builds an inventory showing where EAs are attached and where no EA is present.

Terminal overview

The summary displays:

  • Terminal Algo Trading ON/OFF
  • Total open charts
  • Charts with an attached EA
  • Charts without an EA

If Expert Advisors are attached while terminal Algo Trading is OFF, Deployment Monitor highlights the terminal-level condition.

Automatic EA discovery

Deployment Monitor automatically enumerates open charts in the current MetaTrader 5 terminal.

For each chart it displays:

  • Symbol
  • Timeframe
  • Attached Expert Advisor name
  • No EA when no Expert Advisor is attached

No configuration or cooperation from the monitored Expert Advisors is required.

Filters

Use the compact filter to switch between:

All Charts
Displays the complete open-chart inventory, including charts with and without Expert Advisors.

EA Only
Displays only charts with an attached Expert Advisor.

Pagination keeps larger terminal inventories compact and readable.

Dynamic monitoring

The inventory refreshes as the terminal configuration changes, including:

  • EA attachment
  • EA removal
  • Charts opening
  • Charts closing
  • Symbol changes
  • Timeframe changes

The deployment inventory is reconstructed from the current terminal state after restart.

Important distinction: attachment is not health

Deployment Monitor reports whether an Expert Advisor is attached to a chart.

An attached EA is not necessarily:

  • Internally active
  • Ready to trade
  • Receiving valid signals
  • Properly licensed
  • Within its trading session
  • Functioning without internal errors

The utility intentionally does not infer EA health, strategy readiness or trading performance.

Terminal Algo Trading state is reported separately from EA attachment.

Read-only by design

HCS EA Deployment Monitor does not:

  • Open trades
  • Close positions
  • Modify orders
  • Modify other Expert Advisors
  • Provide trading signals
  • Evaluate strategy performance
  • Predict market direction

It requires no cooperation from monitored EAs and no external services, HCS licensing, DLL or WebRequest.
