Manzano Risk Reward Box

Manzano Risk Reward Box is a visual trade planning and risk management tool for MetaTrader 5, designed to help traders prepare their positions directly on the chart before execution.
It allows users to create visual BUY and SELL scenarios, define the percentage of the account they want to risk, and automatically calculate the corresponding position size according to the distance between the entry price and Stop Loss.
The tool does not generate trading signals or decide when to buy or sell. Its purpose is to facilitate trade planning and clearly display the risk and potential reward structure of a position.
How it works
The panel provides two planning modes:
- DRAW BUY: creates a visual structure for a potential BUY position.
- DRAW SELL: creates a visual structure for a potential SELL position.
After selecting a direction, the tool displays the corresponding Stop Loss and Take Profit areas directly on the chart.
The following parameters can be defined from the panel:
- Risk %: percentage of the account to be risked.
- TP R: initial R multiple used to calculate Take Profit relative to the Stop Loss distance.
Using these parameters and the symbol specifications available in MetaTrader 5, the tool automatically calculates the corresponding position size.
Adjustable Stop Loss and Take Profit
Once the structure has been created, Stop Loss and Take Profit can be moved independently directly on the chart.
The initial values can therefore be used as a starting point and SL/TP can subsequently be positioned according to the technical levels selected by the trader.
When these levels are modified, the calculations and displayed information are automatically updated.
Information displayed on the chart
The tool displays:
- Entry price.
- Stop Loss price.
- Take Profit price.
- Calculated position size.
- Requested account risk.
- Effective account risk.
- Estimated monetary loss at Stop Loss.
- Potential monetary profit at Take Profit.
- Resulting effective R ratio.
This allows the monetary implications of a setup to be evaluated before deciding whether to execute the trade.
Position sizing
Position size is calculated using the actual distance between Entry and Stop Loss together with the instrument specifications provided by MetaTrader 5.
The symbol's volume restrictions are also taken into account. If the position size required to achieve the exact requested risk cannot be used, the effective risk may be lower than the requested value.
The panel displays requested / actual information so that this difference can be easily identified.
Important
This version is designed exclusively for visual trade planning and risk calculation.
It does not open market positions, place pending orders, modify existing positions or perform automatic trailing stop management.
Execution and trailing controls displayed in the interface represent features available in the PRO version and do not perform trading operations in this version.
Trade execution remains entirely under the user's control through MetaTrader 5.
How to use
- Attach Manzano Risk Reward Box to a chart.
- Enter the desired account Risk %.
- Define the initial Take Profit R multiple.
- Select DRAW BUY or DRAW SELL.
- Adjust the Stop Loss directly on the chart.
- Adjust the Take Profit independently if required.
- Review position size, effective risk, estimated loss, potential profit and resulting R ratio.
- Use this information to evaluate the setup before manually executing the trade.
