Nexa Smart EA — NY Killzone Breakout with Smart Filters
A precision breakout expert advisor engineered around the New York Killzone — the highest-liquidity window of the trading day. Nexa Smart EA automatically identifies intraday structural highs and lows, then executes directional breakout trades with full risk control and optional multi-layer confirmation filters.

What is the NY Killzone?
The New York Killzone (15:00–16:30 broker time, UTC+2) is the overlap period between the London and New York sessions — historically the highest-volume window of the entire trading day. Smart money institutions use this window to accumulate positions, trigger liquidity sweeps, and set the directional bias for the rest of the session. Nexa Smart EA is built entirely around this window.
How it works
1 Killzone scanning (15:00–16:30): The EA monitors every bar within the killzone window and records the session's structural high and low with precision.
2 Level locking: Once the killzone closes, the high and low are locked as key breakout levels for the rest of the day.
3 Breakout execution (16:30–20:00): During the trade window, the EA either places buy/sell stop orders at the breakout levels (standard mode) or waits for candle-close confirmation (filter mode).
4 Risk management: Every trade is opened with defined Stop Loss and Take Profit in points — with optional trailing stop to protect and extend winning positions.
5 Daily reset: At midnight, all levels, pending orders, and tracking variables are reset — the EA begins fresh each day.
Smart confirmation filters
Each filter can be toggled independently. When any filter is active, the EA switches from pending-order mode to live execution on confirmed candle close — adding an extra layer of signal validation before entering the market.
Engulfing filter
Requires the breakout candle body to cover at least 70% of its full range — confirming strong directional momentum, not a fakeout spike.
Volume spike filter
Validates the breakout with tick volume — the breakout bar must exceed the average volume of the prior 10 bars, confirming institutional participation.
Liquidity sweep filter
Checks that price swept the opposite side of the killzone before breaking out — a classic smart money pattern indicating a stop hunt before the real move.
ATR expansion filter
Compares the current bar's ATR(1) against the 14-period ATR average. Only trades when volatility is expanding — filtering out low-momentum consolidation breaks.
No-wick filter
Rejects breakout candles with a leading wick larger than 10% of the body — ensuring the candle closed decisively, not with hesitation.

Who is this EA for?
Intraday traders
Designed for traders who prefer clean, session-based entries rather than holding positions overnight.
Smart money / ICT traders
Built on killzone, liquidity sweep, and market structure concepts — aligns directly with SMC/ICT frameworks.
Risk-conscious traders
Every trade requires a StopLoss and TakeProfit at initialization. The EA refuses to operate without them.
Algo developers
Clean, modular MQL5 code with clearly separated functions — easy to extend, backtest, or optimize.
Important notes before purchase
Broker time: The default killzone and trade windows are set for UTC+2 brokers (standard for most MT5 brokers). Adjust the hour inputs to match your broker's server time if different.
5-digit vs 3-digit brokers: Stop Loss, Take Profit, and offset values are in points. On a 5-digit EUR/USD broker, 500 points = 50 pips. Adjust accordingly.
Filters are optional: With all filters disabled, the EA runs in pure breakout mode using pending stop orders. Enable filters selectively for stricter entry conditions.
One trade per day: The EA places a maximum of one active position per day per direction. Once a position is open, all pending orders are automatically cancelled.
