CCI Reversal Pro

CCI Reversal Pro is an Expert Advisor built on the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) overbought/oversold reversal strategy — a classic and time-tested approach that remains underexplored in the MQL5 Market.

The CCI measures the deviation of price from its statistical average. Extreme readings above +100 indicate overbought conditions; extreme readings below -100 indicate oversold conditions. CCI Reversal Pro monitors these extremes and executes trades when price exits them — capturing the mean-reversion move that typically follows.

HOW IT WORKS

  • CCI drops below -100 then crosses back above → EA opens a BUY
  • CCI rises above +100 then crosses back below → EA opens a SELL
  • Opposite positions are closed automatically on signal reversal
  • All signals are processed at the opening of a new bar — no repainting, no false triggers

RISK MANAGEMENT

CCI Reversal Pro includes a built-in margin check before every trade. If your account does not have sufficient free margin, the EA skips the trade and waits for the next signal — protecting your account at all times. Stop Loss and Take Profit are applied automatically on every order.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

  • Timeframes: H1, H4 or Daily for stronger reversal signals
  • Symbols: Major Forex pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY), Gold (XAUUSD), major indices
  • Always run a backtest on your specific symbol and timeframe before going live
  • Start with default settings and adjust based on your results
