TL Method — Automatic Trendline Detection & Strength Indicator

Tired of drawing trendlines manually? TL Method does it for you — automatically detecting, drawing, and scoring trendlines in real time.

What it does:

• Scans up to 1000 bars to find valid support and resistance trendlines
• Scores each trendline by counting confirmed anchor touches
• Generates buy/sell signal arrows when price approaches strong trendlines
• Alerts you via popup, push notification, or sound — with smart cooldown to avoid spam

What makes it different:

• Strength-based filtering — Only signals from validated trendlines, not random lines
• Multi-condition gating — Combine multiple filters for precise entries
• Zero maintenance — Trendlines update automatically. Broken lines turn gray and clean up on their own
• Lightweight — Batch price caching means minimal CPU usage, even on lower timeframes

Conditions — stack them for precision:

• Price to TL Level — Signal only when price is within a configurable ADR/ATR distance of a strong trendline
• First Touch — Require that price is touching the trendline zone for the first time (no retests)
• Strength Level — Minimum anchor touches required per trendline (filter out weak lines)
• Overall Strength — Net directional strength across all active trendlines must favor the trade direction
• Broken TL — Detect recently broken opposing trendlines as reversal confirmation
• Count After — Require N additional trendlines formed after a qualifying line (confluence filter)
• OP Level — Block signals when an opposing trendline is too close (avoid trading into resistance/support)

All conditions are AND-gated — enable only what you need, disable the rest by setting to 0.

Alert System:

• MT5 popup alert (Alert)
• Push notification to mobile (SendNotification)
• Sound alert with custom .wav file (PlaySound)
• Per-direction bar-based cooldown — after a BUY signal, the next BUY is suppressed for N bars (configurable). SELL signals track independently
• Arrows respect the same cooldown — no signal spam on the chart

Telegram Integration: If you use Telegram for notifications, make sure to add https://api.telegram.org to the allowed URLs list in MetaTrader 5: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" and add the URL there.

Works on any symbol and timeframe. Fully configurable — use it as a standalone signal tool or as visual confirmation alongside your existing strategy.
