AlgoTrade Account Statistics

AlgoTrade Account Statistics displays closed trade statistics on the chart. It runs on any chart and reads account data only.

What it shows

  • The net result of closed trades and the gain as a percentage of the starting balance.
  • The number of closed trades, trades per week, the share of winning trades, and the profit factor.
  • The average win, average loss, average trade, best trade, and worst trade.
  • The longest runs of winning and losing trades.
  • The deepest drop in closed-trade results, in money and as a percentage of the starting balance.
  • The average trade holding time.
  • Long and short trades with their winning shares.
  • All symbols or the chart symbol only, for today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all history, with one click.

How a trade is counted

  • A trade is a closed position: its price result, swap, commission, and fees are counted upon closure.
  • Partial closes count as one trade. On netting accounts, a reversal closes the old trade and opens a new one.
  • An optional magic number displays trades from a single Expert Advisor, or 0 for manual trades only.

How to use

  • Attach the indicator to any chart. It can run on the same chart alongside an Expert Advisor.
  • Click the tabs at the top of the panel. Click "Fold" to show a single line on the chart, or "Open" to display the full panel.

Inputs: symbols shown first, magic number, period shown first, panel corner.

Please read

  • This indicator reads account data only and does not open, modify, or close trades.
  • Deposits and withdrawals are excluded from the result. Percentage gain uses the balance at the start of the period, with deposits and withdrawals in the period weighted by their duration in the account.
  • Trades with opening deals older than the terminal account history are not counted. Commissions booked by the broker as a separate deal are not part of the trade.
