AlgoTrade Trade Journal records your trades automatically without manual typing. It runs on any chart and reads account data only.

What it does

Writes one row to a CSV file for every trade open, addition, partial close, close, and reversal.
Each row includes the time, symbol, side, volume, price, stop loss, take profit, deal result, total trade result on close, magic number, reason (manual, Expert Advisor, stop loss, take profit), and comment.
Takes a screenshot of the trade's symbol chart when a trade opens and closes, and records the file name in the row.
Displays the latest six entries on the chart, with a button to take a screenshot at any time.
Supports manual and Expert Advisor trades on hedging and netting accounts.

Where the files are

File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Files > AlgoTrade Journal > your account number: journal.csv and the shots folder. If you use a symbol or magic number filter, the folder name includes the filter.
The CSV file opens in any spreadsheet application. If the file is open in another program, new entries wait and are written once it is closed.

How to use

Attach the indicator to any chart. One copy is sufficient for the entire account; if run on multiple charts, one copy writes data while the others display the list.
Keep a chart open for each traded symbol to capture screenshots.
Click "Fold" to show a single line on the chart, or "Open" to display the full panel.

Inputs: trades written (all symbols or the chart symbol), magic number, screenshots enabled or disabled, screenshot width and height, hide panel in screenshots, panel corner.

This indicator reads account data only and does not open, modify, or close trades.
The journal starts when the indicator is first launched; prior trades are not recorded. Trades executed while the terminal was closed are recorded on the next startup without screenshots.
A maximum of 60 screenshots are taken per hour, with one per symbol at the same time.
