AlgoTrade Gold Range Meter shows how far the price has moved today compared with an average day. It is made for XAUUSD and works on any symbol.

What it shows

The average daily range of the last 20 closed days (high minus low; weekend bars and flat bars are left out).
Today's range so far and the percentage of an average day it has reached, with a bar marked at 100% and 150%.
Two dotted lines: today's low plus the average range, and today's high minus the average range. Today becomes an average-sized day when the price reaches either line.
The Asia, London, and New York session ranges today, alongside their 20-day averages.
The broker's server time, so you can check session hours.

Alerts

An alert when today's range reaches 100% and 150% of an average day, once per day for each level. Mobile push notifications are optional.

How to use

Attach the indicator to a symbol chart. It can run on the same chart alongside an Expert Advisor.
Set the session hours in the inputs using your broker's server time.
Click "Fold" to keep a single line on the chart, or "Open" to display the full panel.

Inputs: days in the average, weekend bars on or off, start and end hour for each session, alerts at 100% and 150%, mobile push notifications, chart lines, panel corner.

This indicator only reads price data. It does not open, modify, or close trades.
Session hours are fixed in server time. When daylight saving time changes on different dates in Europe and the US, you may need to adjust them for a few weeks.
