VolatilityProX is a professional indicator for MetaTrader 4 that combines three tools in one:

  • Adaptive Supertrend — adaptive trend line

  • Daily Range — yesterday's High/Low

  • Pivot Points — classic R1, R2, S1, S2 levels

🎯 What the indicator shows

1. Adaptive Supertrend

Green line in uptrend, red in downtrend. Key difference from standard Supertrend — adaptive ATR that auto-adjusts to current market volatility.

Implemented via two separate buffers ( BullBuffer / BearBuffer ) because MT4 does not support DRAW_COLOR_LINE . A visual gap may appear at flip bars — this is normal MT4 behavior, not an indicator bug.

2. Daily Range

Yesterday's levels:

  • 🔴 Range High — yesterday's maximum

  • 🟢 Range Low — yesterday's minimum

  • ⚪ Range Mid — 50% of the range

3. Pivot Points

Classic levels:

  • 🟡 Pivot — central point

  • 🔴 R1, R2 — resistance levels

  • 🟢 S1, S2 — support levels

✨ Key features

📈 Adaptive Supertrend

Standard Supertrend uses a fixed ATR multiplier. VolatilityPro automatically adjusts ATR based on current volatility:

  • High volatility → wider range → fewer false signals

  • Low volatility → tighter range → faster reaction

No need to install Supertrend, Daily Range, and Pivot Points separately. VolatilityPro combines everything — fewer objects on chart, cleaner analysis.

🎯 Automatic levels

Daily Range and Pivot Points are auto-calculated from yesterday's data (D1). Updated once per day.

  • Supertrend flip — trend direction change

  • Range break — yesterday's High/Low break

  • Pivot break — R1/S1 break

  • 60-min cooldown — alert doesn't repeat across multiple charts

  • Tick-by-tick check ( InpAlertOnTick ) — instant reaction to level break, no wait until bar close

🛠 Installation — MetaTrader 4

1. Installation

  • Copy VolatilityPro.mq4 to MQL4/Indicators/

  • Open MetaEditor (F4), compile (F7). Must be 0 errors, 0 warnings

  • Restart MT4

  • Drag onto chart: Insert → Indicators → Custom → VolatilityPro

📌 Trading scenarios

1. Supertrend in trend direction

  • Green Supertrend → trade only BUY

  • Red Supertrend → trade only SELL

2. Daily Range break

  • Price breaks Range High → possible move to R1, R2

  • Price breaks Range Low → possible move to S1, S2

3. Pivot Point trading

  • Bounce from Pivot up → BUY, SL below Pivot

  • Bounce from Pivot down → SELL, SL above Pivot

4. Combination

  • Green Supertrend + price above Range Mid + Range High break → strong BUY

  • Red Supertrend + price below Range Mid + Range Low break → strong SELL

5. Range Mid as filter

  • Price above Mid — buyers dominate

  • Price below Mid — sellers dominate
