Symbol Cost Monitor è un’utilità di analisi professionale per MetaTrader 4, progettata per monitorare rapidamente i costi di trading di più strumenti contemporaneamente.

Lo spread e lo swap influiscono direttamente sul risultato finale delle operazioni. Questo aspetto è particolarmente importante nello scalping, nel trading intraday attivo, nel mantenimento delle posizioni per diversi giorni e nel lavoro simultaneo con più simboli. L’interfaccia standard di MetaTrader 4 non consente di confrontare comodamente tutti questi parametri in un’unica finestra, quindi il trader deve normalmente aprire le specifiche di ogni strumento e controllare le informazioni manualmente.

Symbol Cost Monitor raccoglie i principali dati dei simboli selezionati e li visualizza in un pannello compatto direttamente sul grafico. L’utilità consente di individuare rapidamente gli strumenti con spread elevati, confrontare gli swap, monitorare i cambiamenti delle condizioni di trading e stimare i potenziali costi prima di aprire una posizione.

Il pannello aggiorna i dati in tempo reale e può funzionare con tutti gli strumenti disponibili nella finestra Market Watch oppure soltanto con un elenco personalizzato di simboli. L’indicazione a colori permette di rilevare rapidamente un peggioramento delle condizioni di trading, mentre gli avvisi segnalano quando lo spread supera il livello impostato.

Funzioni principali: monitoraggio simultaneo di più simboli, visualizzazione dei prezzi Bid e Ask, spread corrente, minimo e massimo, Swap Long e Swap Short, modalità di calcolo dello swap, giorno del triplo swap, stato di negoziazione del simbolo, specifiche dettagliate dello strumento selezionato, indicazione a colori del livello dello spread, avvisi in caso di spread elevato, ordinamento dei simboli, supporto per Market Watch o per un elenco personalizzato, rilevamento automatico dei prefissi e dei suffissi del broker, esportazione dei dati in formato CSV, apertura del grafico del simbolo selezionato, azzeramento delle statistiche raccolte e spostamento del pannello sul grafico senza muovere il grafico stesso.

L’utilità è particolarmente utile durante la pubblicazione di notizie economiche, i cambi di sessione, i periodi di bassa liquidità e i forti movimenti di mercato, quando lo spread può aumentare in modo significativo. Può inoltre essere utilizzata per confrontare le condizioni di trading di coppie di valute, metalli, indici, azioni, criptovalute e altri strumenti offerti dal broker.

Symbol Cost Monitor non apre operazioni, non modifica gli ordini e non interferisce con la strategia di trading. Il suo scopo è fornire informazioni chiare e aggiornate sul costo reale del trading.
