Please note: In live trading, the drawdown may be significant. Be sure to use only money you can afford to lose, and avoid setting the LotFactor too high (recommended 0.1–0.2).
Gold Something is a trading robot created by learning from the historical charts of XAUUSD. The model has been trained on approximately 15 years of historical gold data.
The trading logic utilizes the H1 (1-hour) timeframe as a reference to execute trend-following strategies, specifically targeting buy-on-dips and sell-on-rallies.
In terms of activity, the robot trades an average of 1 to 4 times per week, totaling approximately 130 to 200 trades per year.
It's also possible for two signals to hold positions simultaneously.
It executes trades identically regardless of which timeframe(chart period) it is applied to.
It performs day trading, with positions typically held for approximately 5 to 8 hours.
Since position closing is handled by the robot's internal logic, the Take Profit and Stop Loss parameters serve primarily as emergency safeguards for sudden market volatility rather than primary exit targets.
However, when market volatility is too high, I recommend reducing the lot size or stopping the EA.
Recommended: A GMT+2 broker like ICmarkets
Note: Backtesting results are not a guarantee of future profits. Please run the robot on a demo account for a period of time to monitor its performance before committing real capital.
