SmartMoneyPro EA is an automated MT5 trading system designed around market-structure concepts inspired by ICT and Smart Money Concepts (SMC).
The EA analyzes Break of Structure (BOS), Change of Character (CHoCH), liquidity sweeps, inducement, Order Blocks, Fair Value Gaps (FVG/iFVG) and combines them with momentum and higher-timeframe trend confirmation before entering a trade.
Its multi-layer risk-management system is designed to control exposure at the trade, daily, and account level.

Trading activity can be restricted to configurable institutional trading sessions:
- Asian: 02:00–05:00 UTC
- London: 07:00–11:00 UTC
- New York: 13:00–16:00 UTC
Each session can be configured independently.
🎯 MULTI-LAYER CONFIRMATION 💰 ADVANCED MONEY MANAGEMENT1. Volatility-Adjusted Position Sizing
Position size is calculated from the actual Stop Loss distance.
Risk Amount = Account Balance × Risk %
The EA automatically adjusts lot size according to the SL distance.
- Wider SL → smaller position
- Tighter SL → larger position
This keeps the intended monetary risk more consistent across different market conditions.
Two sizing modes are available:
- Percentage Risk
- Fixed Lot Size
2. Three-Level Take Profit + Automatic Breakeven
Default configuration:
TP1 → 1R
- Close 50%
- Move SL to breakeven
TP2 → 2.5R
- Close 25%
TP3 → 3.5R
- Final 25% remains open
After TP1, the remaining position is protected at the entry level under the default breakeven logic.
3. Daily Drawdown Protection
The EA monitors daily equity performance.
When the configured daily drawdown limit is reached:
- Open positions can be closed
- Pending signals are cancelled
- New trading is stopped for the remainder of the day
The daily protection resets automatically on the next trading day.
Default: 2.5%
4. Total Drawdown Protection
The EA also provides an account-level drawdown guard.
When the configured maximum drawdown is reached:
- Positions are closed
- New signals are disabled
- Trading remains disabled until the EA is restarted/configuration is reset
Default: 9.0%
5. High-Watermark Adaptive Risk
The EA tracks the highest equity reached since initialization.
Risk can automatically adjust according to the account's performance.
Normal Performance
When equity remains close to the high watermark:
Full configured risk
Drawdown Mode
When equity falls approximately 3% or more below the high watermark:
Risk is automatically reduced
Recovery
When equity recovers:
Configured risk is restored
Example — $200K Account
Base Risk: 0.55%
Normal mode:
$1,100 risk / trade
Reduced-risk mode:
$550 risk / trade
This mechanism is designed to reduce exposure during unfavorable periods.
6. Daily Losing Trade Limit
The EA can monitor completed losing trades during the trading day.
After the configured number of losses:
No new positions are opened until the next trading day.
Default:
Maximum losing trades per day: 2
7. Daily Profit Lock
When the configured daily profit target is reached, the EA can stop opening new trades for the remainder of the day.
Default:
1.5% daily profit lock
Example on $200K:
1.5% = $3,000
This feature is designed to help protect accumulated daily gains.
8. No-Hedge Mode
The EA can prevent opposite-direction positions while an existing position is active.
Default: Enabled
This is useful for traders who want a single-direction trading approach.
If supported by the account/broker and desired by the user:
NoHedge = false
can allow simultaneous long and short positions.
📊 MULTI-TRADE CONTROLThe MaxTrades setting controls the maximum number of simultaneous positions.
MaxTrades = 1
One position at a time.
Recommended configuration for controlled-risk trading.
MaxTrades = 2
Up to two simultaneous positions.
MaxTrades = 3+
Multiple signals can remain active simultaneously.
Depending on the NoHedge setting, the EA can allow:
- Multiple positions in the same direction
- Long and short positions simultaneously
Risk-management protections continue to operate at the overall account/basket level.
🔒 FRIDAY WEEKEND PROTECTIONThe EA can automatically close open positions before the weekend.
Default: Friday 20:00 UTC
This helps reduce exposure to weekend gaps and market reopen volatility.
⌛ SIGNAL EXPIRY & INVALIDATIONEvery detected setup can be stored temporarily in a signal queue.
A signal is cancelled when:
- The structural setup becomes invalid
- Price moves beyond the invalidation condition
- Entry confirmation is not received within the configured expiry period
Default signal expiry: 20 bars
This prevents old setups from triggering after market conditions have changed.
