I bought this EA after reading good reviews and seeing great back-testing results, but these are nothing like the actual results. I have included a screenshot of my first real-life trading week using the smallest lot size in the comments section.

The honest summary about this EA's performance is Shit!!. Dont buy it if you love your money. For more detail, - Most EAs, I have bought at least will given "honeymoon period" but this EA, has taken the loss trade since day1 until now. - I have loss about $1000, just only using fix 0.01lot, just for 2weeks of using. Even Average EA on mql5 cant do this.(dot talk about martingale thing) what if I have used 0.01lot per $1000 as my port is $10k? - This shit EA always, entry Buy position at the "top" and hold for long time then Sell it the bottom. After that, it enter "Sell" position at that bottom and again hold to the Top then Exit.

I strongly advise against purchasing or using the Zoomini EA. At best, this software performs poorly; at worst, it functions as an unmitigated account-destroyer. Below is a detailed breakdown of why this trading bot is a major liability to your capital:

It routinely initiates trades at highly unfavourable price points, completely ignoring optimal structural setups. To make matters worse, its exit strategy is practically non-existent. Instead of cutting losses early, it locks into losing positions and completely misses clear opportunities to lock in profits, leaving your capital exposed to unnecessary risk.

2. Deficient Trend Detection and Aggressive Martingale Tactics - The software is highly incompetent at reading basic market directions. When the market moves into a clear trend, the EA fails to recognize it and responds by employing a dangerous, disguised Martingale strategy. Instead of adapting, it opens more positions. It also forces heavy hedging that frequently locks up over 30% of your account balance. This ties up your margin, suffocates your free equity, and places your entire account under severe stress.

3. Destructive Counter-Trend Scaling - The worst flaw occurs when the market establishes a strong, continuous trend. Instead of executing a stop-loss and exiting the bad positions, the EA digs its heels in. It completely refuses to close out the losing trades and continuously opens new orders directly against the prevailing market trend. It aggressively fights the market momentum, which inevitably forces a massive drawdown and exposes the user to a catastrophic margin call.

4. A Lazy Rehash of the Failed "Mad Turtle" EA - Do not be fooled by the marketing; Zoomini is not a unique or innovative piece of trading software. It is simply a rebranded rehash of the developer's previous software, Mad Turtle. The older Mad Turtle EA ultimately failed and blew accounts due to the exact same flawed entry/exit logic and toxic counter-trend Martingale flaws mentioned above. The developer has failed to fix these core algorithmic flaws and has simply packaged the same broken strategy under a new name.

Final Verdict Rating: 1/5 (Highly Unrecommended) Save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere. This software relies on toxic account-blowing mechanics wrapped in a fresh coat of paint. It is a ticking time bomb for any live trading account. Now, if something drastic happens and the Developer somehow corrects this EA, then I will come back and edit my review.

Stopped using, significant losses using even the smallest lot size constant counter-trend trading hopefully the update will improve things as id like to use something i paid for

Purchased and forward-tested on two live accounts, deliberately on separate servers to isolate broker-side execution variance. Combined drawdown exceeded $1,300 in under four days — same direction, same time, on both.

The EA runs three ONNX regression models — Owl-10-m6162, Moose-6-m95, Moose-14-m81 — gated by a hysteresis band rather than a plain threshold. On the vendor's own public live board these three stand at −$208.56 across 32 closed trades. The split matters: +$26.65 realised against −$235.21 floating. The realised figure only looks survivable because the losses are still open. A position held open is deferred loss recognition, not risk management.

Regime dependence is the core failure. Through 4 August, while XAUUSD ranged, the three models were roughly +$108. From 5 August gold trended one way, 4,073 → 4,410 (+337 points), and across that entire run they returned −$293.78. Their two worst sessions, −$152.76 and −$177.84, coincide with two of the three largest up-days. The models do not generalise across regimes — they gave back everything the moment the market picked a direction.

Sample size makes any positive claim unsupportable in either direction. 32 closed trades yields a 53.1% win rate at binomial p = 0.86, statistically indistinguishable from a coin flip. Confirming a true 55% win rate at 80% statistical power requires roughly 785 trades. Nothing here is within an order of magnitude of demonstrating an edge.

This is the textbook in-sample / out-of-sample gap. A model scored on its own training data produces a clean equity curve for free; walk-forward performance does not survive contact with unseen ticks. The backtest is not evidence. The vendor's own live data is, and it shows no measurable edge.

I will revise this review upward without hesitation if out-of-sample statistics for these three models — walk-forward efficiency, in-sample versus out-of-sample degradation, and the realised versus floating split — are published and hold up.

Waste of money

That's a $1,500 I'm never getting back. Took trades completely against the trend, both buys and sells. Stopped using

In passato ho acquistato piu di 30 bot e questo è sicuramente il PEGGIORE. Stop loss talmente lontani come non esserci. In trading range ha preso solo loss e quando il gold ha deciso dove andare mi sono fatto il 2,5% della direzione contromano con tutti e tre le varianti. Mi sento un perfetto idiota ad averlo acquistato. Stare alla larga.

This EA is garbage. It has zero logical trading rules. It only takes counter-trend positions without proper stop-loss orders, causing your losses to snowball endlessly. If refunds were available, I’d demand one without hesitation. Do not buy this under any circumstances.

Poor performance so far

I’ve stopped using it now because I was trading against the market trends (betting against the ups and downs).

This EA is what I'm looking for a long time and not aware of its existence until it releases. It is really unique in the market. It really gave high hopes for me, very promising!!!
