Suggestions, comments, errors on the Signals service - page 67

alenka:

I don't get it, maybe someone has had problems with it? Why do I close all open orders and reopen them at new prices?

But every time there is a loss and the supplier is fine.

Perhaps the seller at open positions withdraws or refills the deposit. If you want to trade with a signal provider, write toService Desk with the signal provider's name and the logs.

Service disk is silent, it seems difficult to understand their own system))

I've got an answer from my brokerage company's tech support:

========================================================================================================

According to the server log file, the positions you mentioned were closed as a result of the execution of a number of market orders sent from your terminal at 05:33 server time:

2014.01.20 05:33:16 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23832749 (buy 0.02 EURUSD at 1.36666) (1.35248 / 1.35257)

After closing the position at the current market prices, your terminal received a number of orders to open similar positions, but with a larger volume:

2014.01.20 05:33:19 176.74.216.133 '267943': market buy 0.03 EURUSD sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 (1.35248 / 1.35257)
2014.01.20 05:33:19 176.74.216.133 '267943': market buy 0.03 EURJPY sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 (140.61000 / 140.62800)
2014.01.20 05:33:20 176.74.216.133 '267943': market buy 0.03 EURJPY sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 (140.60900 / 140.62800)
2014.01.20 05:33:20 176.74.216.133 '267943': market buy 0.03 EURJPY sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 (140.60900 / 140.62800)
2014.01.20 05:33:20 176.74.216.133 '267943': market buy 0.03 EURJPY sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 (140.60900 / 140.62800)
2014.01.20 05:33:21 176.74.216.133 '267943': market sell 0.03 USDCAD sl: 0.00000 tp: 0.00000 (1.09484 / 1.09505)

Then, after about 5 minutes, a number of orders came from your terminal to partially close each of the positions in question, reducing their volume to 0.02 lots each:

2014.01.20 05:38:38 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23911090 (buy 0.01 EURUSD at 1.35257) (1.35277 / 1.35287)
2014.01.20 05:38:39 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23911091 (buy 0.01 EURJPY at 140.62800) (140.65000 / 140.66700)
2014.01.20 05:38:39 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23911092 (buy 0.01 EURJPY at 140.62800) (140.65000 / 140.66700)
2014.01.20 05:38:40 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23911093 (buy 0.01 EURJPY at 140.62800) (140.65000 / 140.66700)
2014.01.20 05:38:40 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23911094 (buy 0.01 EURJPY at 140.62800) (140.65000 / 140.66700)
2014.01.20 05:38:41 176.74.216.133 '267943': close market order #23911095 (sell 0.01 USDCAD at 1.09484) (1.09489 / 1.09508)

No problems were detected in the execution of all the aforementioned orders, so the reason why the situation occurred should be sought in what exactly caused all these orders to be sent.

Given that you claim to use the signal service to trade - the most likely scenario in this case is the automatic synchronization of positions between your account and the signal provider account as a result of changes in the Equity level of your account, the ratio of funds in your account and the provider account or change of any copying settings, etc.

=====================================================================================================

But again I do not understand why it happens so? The smart copying system opens and closes positions when and how it wants, when there were no orders sent by the provider ????7

I'm shocked if a change in balance/equity at the provider causes positions to be closed and immediately open at the followers. I understand when a position is opened(!) depending on the balance, but if it is copied, why re-synchronise it?

Good afternoon, may I make a suggestion or a request, as you prefer.

I would very much like to have a lot multiplier in the "signals" service.

I suffered inconvenience myself: I found a good signals provider, but with automatic calculation of lots (taking into account his and my leverage) I get 2-3 trades a day with 0.01 lot for 400 euro deposit. At the same time the maximum drawdown is 1, rarely 2%.

The result is a profit of 1-2 dollars a day, i.e. somewhere around a third of a percent.

I asked what could be done and they advised to increase deposit. Of course, it will be pleasant for broker, but my personal income will be the same 0.3% of deposit.

There is another option - to download 8 terminals, split my $400 into 8 accounts of 50 quid each and subscribe to this provider 8 times. But this is crazy. And if the subscription is paid? Then its amount is multiplied by 8! In this case you can forget about any profit.

Hence the question: is it realistic that at some point there will be a multiplier for those lots that are placed automatically? Or will I have to download terminal by terminal ad infinitum?

Thank you in advance for your attention.

Or use a copier with the right multiplier...

As far as I remember, the developers strongly oppose manual multiplier, because subscribers immediately go bust, setting exorbitant risks.

Don't forget that reducing the deposit of the subscribed account will lead to a reduction of the copied volume.

When subscribing to a signal, the subscriber already has worse conditions, and the copier will make them even worse.

Why should I care about losing subscribers' deposits?

Yeah, and copyers for 509 version of MT4 do not work on 574 version :(

Yeah, and the copiers for 509 version of MT4 do not work on 574 :(
So, does each build of mt4 need its own copier?

trora:
So each build of MT4 needs its own copywriter?
The MQL4 language that comes with the MT4/574 version will be quite different from MQL4 for MT4/509, so all programs will need to be adapted to the new one.

Good afternoon!

I understood that the signal from the archive is not coming back? Missed a moment not to trade all holidays - now I decided, and there OPA - the signal is already in the archive.... How do I get it back?
