What kind of fish is that?

What kind of fish is that?

"The Asian Carp is probably one of the strangest freshwater fish. The Asian carp does not tolerate neighbours or competitors, destroying any underwater food with lightning speed and ruthlessness.

The first time you see this fish you will think it is crazy. The carp keeps jumping out of the water all the time, and in the video you will see how it reacts to the noise of the boat's motor.
How's that for coming back from fishing with a bruise that you then tell your spouse you were attacked by fish? And in Illinois, it's very common. The strange Asian carp is a river aggressor, usually reaching up to one meter in length and weighing about 40 pounds. It attacks brave fishermen from above, taking off as high as 2 or sometimes 3 metres out of the water!

But on top of everything else, the Asian carp is also a colossal problem. Carp entered American rivers in the early 1990s, and the population is growing at an unimaginable rate. There's already 10,000 fish per mile. Can you imagine there's a big carp in every meter of water!!!

Each fish lays 2,000 eggs.

The Asian carp were once released into Illinois' reservoirs as an exotic, but today other fish have become exotic here. They've simply been outmaneuvered from their own home and left without food !

The "Asian carp case" has even reached the U.S. Congress. After all, small rivers have not been enough for him for a long time. Fish hordes of carp are leaping to the heart of America to Chicago - the Great Lakes are there. If the carp get into the Great Lakes, an ecological disaster cannot be avoided.

Environmentalists have proposed putting power nets in the way of Asian carp into the Great Lakes, but...

Washington has not allocated the necessary 16 million dollars, apparently, America has enough threats without carp. So far, the only thing left to do is to lure to Illinois more extreme fishermen who are not afraid to get hit over the head with fish while extolling the carp's taste. (http://turupupu.ru)"
