I had to rewrite my EA to output everything in print: because I had some of it in comment, some of it graphically :) And I added more prints - its actions on vps are interesting after all :).
I decided to try VPS hosting from MetaQuotes, but it doesn't work...
The Expert Advisor accesses a node on the Internet using the WebRequest() function.
1. Started the Expert Advisor in the MetaTrader 4 terminal on the local computer. It works.
2. Synchronised with VPS hosting. Two dozen messages about the synchronisation process appeared in the log (no errors, I think), everything ends with the message "Virtual Hosting: xxxxxx status is 'started'" (the message is repeated twice). The Expert Advisor continues to work on the local computer (automatic trading is prohibited, but the Expert Advisor does not trade, but accesses a node on the Internet), I can see my IP address (on the node to which the Expert Advisor accesses).
3. I close the terminal. The Expert Advisor does not work (neither on the VPS, nor on the local computer).
Please tell me what the error may be.
If necessary, I will send terminal logs and screenshots (as they contain personal data, I will not post them here).

I noticed this peculiarity, I have on my laptop MT4 terminal with build 985 on the virtual server updated to build 1012 and stopped working Expert Advisor (trade), and in order to work again required synchronisation after the update. So to avoid this build on the laptop and on the server should coincide?

I have a problem with virtual hosting in MT4. After synchronisation, my EA only works until a new tick is received, after which it deactivates automatically.
My procedure is as follows:
1) I activate the "Auto Trading" button
2) I drag the EA into the chart and activate "Allow live trading"
3) I synchronise everything with the virtual host "MQL5 New York 3"
4) The "Auto Trading" button is then deactivated, but the smiley face in the chart is still smiling.
5) When a new tick comes in, the smiley no longer smiles. I have the feeling that the EA in the virtual host is then also deactivated. However, no error message is received, but the EA no longer works.
I have found the following workaround so far: Carry out steps 1-4 during a non-trading period and close MT4 while the smiley is still smiling. Then do nothing and open MT4 a day later. It then worked as intended.
Even logging in with my smartphone in the meantime deactivates the EA, so I have no way of monitoring its functionality.
My question: Is there a solution that would allow me to run the EA via the virtual host and monitor its activity on the MT4 at the same time without the EA deactivating itself?
Applied with my question 12.09 still no answer. Now I see in my personal cabinet one server does not work had to start again manually. I think at the end of the subscription period I will give up.
