I need help from coders in here to add visual alert or a line when it cross 0.8 or 0.2 in this Laguerre.mq4 indicator.

I would appreciate your help.

Or may be if the indicator with alert is available... where can i get it.

thanks to mladen and luxinterior for this, my attempt for optional sound/text alerts for BykovTrend, seems like a OB/OS %R indicator. Any more knowledge about it?

 

wcalhoun, you have to post the indicator code (*.mq4) for someone to add an alert.

You may also try CodersGuru's Easy iCustom and Alerts! indicator and adapt as you need - https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173589

Unfortunately, I don't have the *.mq4 file for my custom indicator because i bought it from a company and they only gave me the compiled file (.ex4) for the indicator. If i attach the *.ex4 file could someone modify it or reprogram it and give me an audible alert for it? Many thanks!

No because you need the source code to insert the alert code.

No because you need the source code to insert the alert code.

Just make a separate indicator alert which call the signal ... I code alerts each day like this for my clients who don't have mq4 files.

Help with sound & email...Please!

Hi all

ND, if this is in the wrong place, please move it. Thanks.

I've attached an indicator that I've tried to add a sound and email alert to.

I'm not a coder, but I'm having a go.

Cut & paste only at the moment!

I've managed to get down to only one error:

'\end_of_program' - ending bracket '}' expected

But no matter what I do, it remains & I cannot 'compile'

Could someone correct it, & if possible, tell me where I'm going wrong.
