Could someone here send me or direct me to the most current version of 10 points with the best ( most profitable) settings. I would like to incorperate some of the Ideas into my kurkatrader system....

thanks.

Terry French:
mtaboneweb, Take a look at profit/loss -221/3 thread. It looks like they could have some ideas you could incorporate. FYI

The only version of Dynamic_Stop can be found on page 18 of this thread.

I have included my presets using all four preferred pairs. Whether it is the most profitable who knows but it gained over $500 profit last week but progressed up to .64 units several times so there is some risk there. Have not yet experienced a close down of this EA after a MaxTrades10 progression.

TakeProfit=20.00000000

What exactly does the dynamic stop loss do?

What exactly does the dynamic stop loss do?

This is what tururo wrote about the Dynamic Stop Loss.

Once you get to maxtrades, if the price continues to go against you, your losses are unlimited. The modification sets the stop point at the place where the last trade would reach the 15 pip loss point + the value of initial stop. So, for each of the orders the stops would be as follows if Pips = 15 and InitialStop = 2, MaxTrades = 5:

Let's say your first trade sells at 1.2600

1st trade stop at 1.2600 + 75 + 2 = 1.2677

2nd trade opens at 1.2615

2nd trade stops at 1.2615 + 60 + 2 = 1.2677

3rd trade opens at 1.2630

3rd trade stop at 1.2630 + 45 + 2 = 1.2677

4th trade opens at 1.2645

4th trade stop at 1.2645 + 30 + 2 = 1.2677

5th trade opens at 1.2660

5th trade stop at 1.2660 + 15 + 2 = 1.2677

So when the price gets to 1.2677 all trades closed out at the stop loss. See yeoelevens earlier post for dollars example.

In practice the stops will vary by a few pips.

Hello

I have been using stochastic 30,21,3 at m30 successfully. Can we use this as entry signal? We enter at either overbought or oversold OR after crosses. You can manually trade using this, i am sure you will be satisfied.

Is it ever wrong and would it be helped if you could also use another indicator to confirm. and what would that indicator or indicators be?? will it also work on larger time frames??

Why can I not backtest this EA ?

The result is always 0, whatever the Time Frame.

I have a similar problem and by using Hendrick's PDF file I have been able to gain 90% accuracy with other EAs. I too would like to know why this occurs and I have noted thatTerminator has the same problem.

Is it that the progression can't be used in back testing?

I have been forward testing the 10 points series since August and intend to continue till January before going live so it is no big deal but it would be useful to test variations more quickly.

Forward testing

After a couple of days this week both my testing of 10points 3 Dynamic Stop are in profit.

#1 tests Maxtrades7 starting from .05 using only EURUSD & USDCHF.

#2 tests Maxtrades10 starting from .01 with all recommenmded pairs.

As previously mentioned I found this version of 10 points 3 from the Lightpatch site and it offers a 1.64 progression and I started testing it last week.

10points 3emsjoflo.mq4

It is not progressing this week as well as the other versions in the previous post but worth looking at to watch the progression.

Using all four recommended pairs starting from .01 with maxtrades10.
