Dear MrTools/Mladen,
Can you tell me if the time filter refers to GMT or Broker time?
Also in ver 1.05 how does trailing stop and break even settings work.. It seems to be changing trailing stop erratically for me.
Thanks

Time filter is broker time
As of trailing stop : as far as I see there are 4 types of trailing stop in that EA. Maybe you should try changing the TrailingStopType to test which one is the one that is the one you like the best
Slam. Hi,
I have an indicator which pops alert when two MAs cross each other.
Currencies = USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY, CADJPY, AUDJPY.
EMA = 7 AND EMA = 21. TimeFrame = 15M, 30M, 60M.
TP = 100, SL = 50, TS = 30.
Max signals per day = 6 to 10.

After finding your EA i tried to apply these settings. and Now its result is almost same on 4digit brokers, but not working on 5digit brokers. Can you please make it working on 5digits please?Hello Qgm, sorry just saw your post today, could you post your indicator so can compare it to the EA signals.
Dear Mladen, I went through lots of pages in this thread but couldn't find the description for all of the 4 types of trailing stops. Could u please direct me to the thread/post which provide clear understanding. Many Thanks :-)

Hi mladen,
I have been trying again to get the Universal MA Cross to work and just wonder if I have made some silly mistake in the settings as I cannot get it to enter trades - or at least only rarely. The settings I have for M5 gold and oil are:
Re: Universal MA Cross EAyou might allow for a little more slippage.
you might allow for a little more slippage.
Hi Blaiserboy - many thanks. The reason I have slippage at 1 is that this seems to represent 10 pips in gold, just as i have the TP and SL at 3 & 2 respectively, which give me 30 and 20 pip values. However I will try that just in case that parameter works differently.
Regards
Jeff
I wonder if a 5 digit broker would help in this case..... just an idea, I have not tried the EA on gold.
I find that a 5 digit broker is much more profitable than 4 digit broker.
Good luck with the gold, I have seen some people do really well with it.
(be sure you have excellent quality data or it could be a costly adventure)
