Cryvon is an automated Bitcoin (BTCUSD) robot built on a multi-level trading engine. It opens a first trade only when its technical signal agrees with the market direction. If BTC moves against it, it can add further positions (mostly of the same size, not doubled) after fresh confirmation, and closes them together as one basket.

This guide covers everything from installation to going live: how the levels work, license activation, every setting explained, backtesting, a safe plan for your first 30 days, checking your BTCUSD contract, broker choice, VPS setup and troubleshooting.

Product page: Cryvon on MQL5 Market

Quick start: from zero to live in about 15 minutes

  1. Broker: a hedging account with low-spread BTCUSD CFDs.
  2. VPS: a server that runs MetaTrader non-stop.
  3. Install: copy the EA and allow https : // xaubot . com (remove spaces) in the WebRequest list.
  4. License: paste your personal key into the Inputs tab.
  5. Go live: one BTCUSD M5 chart, AutoTrading on.

Requirements

Symbol BTCUSD (Bitcoin CFD), one chart only
Timeframe M5 by default; M15 also works
Platform MetaTrader 4 (an MT5 build follows the same steps)
Deposit $500 or more (more capital = more room)
Leverage 1:400 or higher on the account (crypto margin may differ)
Account type Hedging, low-spread crypto CFDs

How Cryvon's Levels Work

On a BTCUSD quote with 2 decimals (e.g. 86,409.50), Cryvon's 100 points = $1 of BTC price. With the default settings:

  • A new level needs a gap of at least $21 of BTC price plus fresh technical confirmation.
  • The first trade targets $34 of BTC price.
  • Levels stay the same size (multipliers 1.21 / 1.0). With a 0.01 start, every level is 0.01.
  • Up to 31 levels per basket, closed together in profit.
  • Max Drawdown % is the hard limit if BTC keeps going the wrong way.

Cryvon is not a martingale, but it can hold many positions in one direction.

Worst case at 0.01 lot per level (levels every $21, 1 lot = 1 BTC):

BTC move against Levels open Floating loss (max.)
$250 12 ≈ $16
$500 24 ≈ $62
$651 31 (all) ≈ $104
$1,000 31 ≈ $212
Each further $100 31 + ≈ $31

Approximate adverse move before a 50% Max Drawdown closes the basket: about $450 of BTC price on a $100 account, $1,100 on $500 and $1,900 on $1,000. With BTC near $86,000, $1,100 is only about 1.3%. Real levels are often further apart.

Bitcoin moves 1–3% in a normal day. That is why $500 is the minimum and more is better. Your protection is the combination of lot size, Maximum Number of Trade Levels and Max Drawdown %. Double the lot and every dollar figure above doubles.

Installation

  1. In MetaTrader, click File › Open Data Folder.
  2. Open the MQL4 folder (on MT5: MQL5), then Experts.
  3. Paste the Cryvon file (.ex4 or .ex5) into Experts. If you received a .zip, extract it first.
  4. In the Navigator (Ctrl+N), right-click Expert Advisors › Refresh.
  5. Open Tools › Options (Ctrl+O) › Expert Advisors. Tick Allow automated trading and Allow WebRequest for listed URL, then add https : // xaubot . com (remove spaces).
  6. Open one BTCUSD chart on M5 (your broker may call it BTCUSD.r, BTCUSDm, BTCUSD+ or BITCOIN). Use the spot CFD, not a dated future.
  7. Double-click Cryvon in the Navigator. In the Common tab, tick Allow live trading.

Bought on the MQL5 Market? Log in under Tools › Options › Community, open Terminal › Market › Purchased, click Install, then continue from step 6.

The #1 cause of license problems: if the URL is missing or mistyped (http instead of https, an extra space, a slash at the end), the robot cannot verify your key and will not trade.

Only one BTCUSD chart. Never attach Cryvon to two charts, and never run it on two terminals for the same account.

License Activation

Cryvon only trades on account numbers registered to your license. After purchase, open a private chat with XAUBOT on MQL5 and send your broker, platform (MT4 / MT5), account number(s) and account type (live / demo). Replace the "-" in Input Your License Key on the Inputs tab with your key, with no spaces before or after. Click Save to store a .set file for next time.

Key Settings

Setting Default Recommendation
Fixed Lot Size 0.01 0.01 per $500–1,000; check the contract first
Max Drawdown % 50.0 Choose consciously; lower = smaller worst case, more baskets closed at a loss
Max Drawdown Action Close all trades and stop Keep; review before restarting
Limits On This Bot Keep
Maximum Number of Trade Levels 31 Designed default; fewer = less exposure
Re-Entry Gap (Points) 2100 Keep ($21 of BTC price)
Initial Profit Target (Points) 3400 Keep ($34 of BTC price)
Second / Subsequent Tier Lot Multiplier 1.21 / 1.0 Keep; raising 1.0 makes exposure grow very fast
CoolDown After Basket true, 120 min Keep
Maximum Spread (Points) 4000.0 Keep ($40)
Hidden StopLoss true Keep, and run on a VPS
News Filter false Consider true; Bitcoin often reacts sharply to CPI and Fed decisions
Magic Number 54795 Change it if you run Aurion or Indiora on the same account

Total position if every level opens, at 0.01 per level: 31 levels = 0.31 BTC, 20 levels = 0.20 BTC, 10 levels = 0.10 BTC. At $86,000 per BTC, 0.31 BTC is a position worth about $26,700, so check your free margin.

Starter profile for calm first weeks: license key pasted, lot 0.01 per $500–1,000 (contract checked), Max Drawdown % set to a loss you accept, News Filter true (USD), everything else default. Change settings only when no basket is open.

Going Live and the Dashboard

Click OK and check that the AutoTrading button is green and a smiling face shows in the chart's top-right corner. The XAUBOT dashboard then shows:

  • Status: Live = license verified and trading enabled
  • Today: trades, win rate, profit and max drawdown
  • DD limit: your Max Drawdown % in dollars, plus news filter, GMT offset, leverage and Trading TF
  • Symbol row: lot, DIR (WAIT = no setup yet), spread now / max, P&L, TIME OK and Cool Down READY
  • News: upcoming USD events and their impact
  • AI view: XAUBOT's AI read of BTC's structure and trend

Check "Trading TF": it must match your chart, 5 Minutes by default (or 15 Minutes on M15).

Never close levels by hand mid-basket. Closing one level manually breaks the basket's logic. If you want out, close all Cryvon trades and remove the robot.

Backtesting

  1. Open the Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R) and select Cryvon.
  2. Choose your broker's BTCUSD symbol and the M5 period.
  3. Model: Every tick on MT4, or Every tick based on real ticks on MT5.
  4. Set a realistic BTC spread (1,000–2,500 points), at least 1 year of data and an initial deposit of $500+.
  5. Press Start, then check the Graph and Report tabs.

Test a hard period too. For a multi-level robot the interesting question is not the average month, but how deep the baskets went in strong one-way moves. The deepest dip in the balance curve is the moment to size your account for. Intrabar BTC moves matter, so always test with Every tick.

Your First 30 Days

Bitcoin is the most volatile market in the XAUBOT range. This plan lets you see how Cryvon behaves at your broker before real money is at stake.

Week 1: Backtest Every-tick test on your broker's BTCUSD over 6–12 months. Note the deepest dip.
Weeks 1–2: Demo Same broker, same settings, real time. Watch at least one basket build to 5+ levels.
Weeks 3–4: Small live 0.01 lot, $500+. Max Drawdown set to an amount you accept losing.
After 30 days: Review Compare with the backtest. Only then consider a larger lot.

What to watch during the demo:

  • Your broker's normal BTC spread vs the 4,000-point limit
  • How many levels a typical basket needs
  • Weekend behaviour: does your broker quote BTC on Saturday and Sunday?
  • Swap charged on positions held overnight
  • Free margin when 10+ levels are open

Rules for scaling up: increase the lot only in steps (e.g. 0.01 → 0.02), keep roughly $500–1,000 per 0.01 lot, never raise lot size right after a loss, and withdraw profits regularly.

The free demo version on the product page can be used in the Strategy Tester before you buy.

Check Your BTCUSD Contract

Crypto CFDs differ a lot between brokers: the size of 1 lot, the number of decimals, leverage, swap and whether BTC trades on weekends. Cryvon's settings assume the contract below.

Contract Result
1 lot = 1 BTC, 2 decimals (as designed) Settings work as designed: $21 gap, $34 first target, $40 max spread
Different size, or 1 / 3 decimals Risk and all point-based distances change. Send us the Specification before trading.

How to check it in 30 seconds: in Market Watch, right-click BTCUSD › Specification. Read digits, contract size, margin and trading hours. Contract size 1 and 2 digits = as designed.

Crypto margin is often separate from account leverage. Your account may say 1:500, but many brokers apply much lower leverage to crypto. With 31 levels open you hold up to 0.31 BTC, so make sure your free margin can carry that before going live.

Broker Requirements

  • Low BTC spread, typically $10–30 (well below the $40 limit)
  • Low slippage and stable execution when BTC moves fast
  • Enough crypto margin to hold many levels at once
  • Hedging account
  • Weekend trading preferred, so BTC gaps on Monday are smaller
  • Reasonable swap, since baskets can stay open overnight

Some regulators (for example the UK for retail clients) restrict crypto CFDs, and many cap crypto leverage very low. Check what your account actually allows before funding it.

VPS

A multi-level basket can stay open for hours. Hidden stops, profit targets and the drawdown limit only work while MetaTrader runs. A VPS keeps Cryvon managing its baskets around the clock, including weekends where your broker trades BTC.

Option Best for Cost
Windows Forex VPS Full control; see the dashboard and news panel ~$15–40 / month
MQL5 built-in VPS Simplest setup, no remote desktop needed $15 / month
Free broker VPS Clients who meet the broker's conditions Free if eligible

Recommended: Windows Server, 2 vCPU, 2–4 GB RAM, SSD, in the same city as your broker's server. Put the MetaTrader shortcut in shell:startup so it restarts automatically.

Never "Shut down" or "Sign out" inside the VPS. Close the remote window with the X. Never run Cryvon on your PC and the VPS at the same time.

Troubleshooting

You see Fix
License error / dashboard not "Live" Add the XAUBOT URL to the WebRequest list exactly, re-paste the key, send your exact account number in private chat.
Sad face on the chart Turn AutoTrading on. F7 › Common › Allow live trading.
DIR always WAIT, no trades Usually normal: spread, news window, cooldown, trading hours, or BTC not quoted at the weekend. Check SP, TIME and Cool Down.
"Not enough money" Crypto margin is higher than expected. Use a smaller lot, more capital, or fewer levels.
Profit / loss per trade very different from expected Contract size is not 1 BTC per lot, or the quote has 1 / 3 decimals. Check the Specification and contact support.
All trades closed, robot stopped Max Drawdown % reached. Review the basket and settings, then re-attach.
Trades mixed up with another XAUBOT robot Aurion, Indiora and Cryvon share Magic Number 54795 by default. Give each robot its own.
Big gap on Monday Your broker does not quote BTC at weekends. Prefer a broker with weekend BTC trading.

Important

Trading crypto, indices, gold, Forex, CFDs and other leveraged instruments involves substantial risk and may result in the partial or complete loss of your capital. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Cryvon adds positions at multiple price levels in the same direction; in strong one-directional markets this can lead to large losses, up to the Max Drawdown limit you set. Backtest results are simulated and do not represent actual trading. Past performance is not indicative of future results. No Expert Advisor or AI system can guarantee profits or avoid losses.
