Automation should not mean losing operational visibility. A useful Expert Advisor interface should help the user understand system state, control exposure and respond consistently without editing code during a live session.

Those controls have different purposes. Pause can stop new decisions while preserving the current operating context. Lock can prevent additional exposure. Close Basket is an intervention tool, not a substitute for a tested exit process. Reset Campaign should be used only after understanding which state and limits it clears.
WHAT TO TEST BEYOND ENTRIES
When evaluating an interface-driven EA, include operational scenarios in the test plan:
1. Confirm the system state after terminal or VPS restart.
2. Test Pause and Resume while positions are open and while the system is flat.
3. Verify maximum-spread and minimum-margin gates with controlled test conditions.
4. Review basket drawdown protection and the campaign target independently.
5. Confirm how cooldown after consecutive losses affects new entries.
6. Record what Reset Campaign changes before relying on it.
The strategy can use ATR-based or fixed protective levels, break-even management, ATR trailing, session filters and one-trade-per-bar control. The official description states that it does not use martingale, grid or averaging logic.
Its filters may leave the EA inactive when conditions disagree. That is expected behavior, not proof that the system has failed. A responsible evaluation measures both the trades taken and the exposure avoided.
