Step-by-step installation and first setup guide for MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA on MetaTrader 5, including chart setup, Algo Trading activation and essential input settings.

MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA – Installation and First Setup

MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA is an Expert Advisor developed for MetaTrader 5 with a focus on systematic trade execution and controlled risk management.

This guide explains how to install the EA, attach it to a chart, enable automated trading and complete the first setup.

1. Install the EA

Open MetaTrader 5 and log in with the same MQL5 account that was used to purchase or rent the product.

Go to:

Navigator → Market → My Purchases

Find MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA and click Install.

After installation, the EA should appear under:

Navigator → Expert Advisors → Market

If it does not appear immediately, refresh the Navigator or restart MetaTrader 5.

2. Open the Trading Chart

Open the symbol you want to use with the EA.

Before starting live trading, it is recommended to become familiar with the EA on a demo account or in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.

Use the symbol and timeframe recommended on the official product page.

3. Attach the EA to the Chart

In the Navigator window:

Expert Advisors → Market → MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA

Drag the EA onto the chart.

The EA properties window will open.

Check the Common and Inputs tabs before continuing.

4. Enable Algo Trading

Automated trading must be enabled in MetaTrader 5.

Make sure the Algo Trading button on the MT5 toolbar is enabled.

You should also verify:

Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow algorithmic trading

If automated trading is disabled, the EA cannot open or manage trades.

5. First Setup

For the first test, I recommend starting with the EA's default parameters.

Do not immediately change multiple settings at the same time.

The safest workflow is:

  1. Start with the default configuration.
  2. Run a Strategy Tester backtest.
  3. Test the EA on a demo account.
  4. Observe trade frequency, Stop Loss, Take Profit and drawdown.
  5. Change one group of parameters at a time if optimization is required.

This makes it easier to understand how each setting affects the strategy.

6. Risk Management

MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA is designed around controlled trade management.

The system uses Stop Loss and Take Profit protection for its trades and does not rely on martingale or grid-style position multiplication.

There is no strategy that can eliminate trading risk.

Lot size, account balance, broker conditions, spread, volatility and market conditions can all affect actual results.

For this reason, always use a risk level that is appropriate for your account.

7. Before Using a Live Account

Before switching from demo to live trading:

  • Run a sufficiently long backtest.
  • Test the EA on a demo account.
  • Check the maximum historical drawdown.
  • Confirm that the selected lot/risk level is suitable for your account.
  • Check your broker's spread and trading conditions.
  • Make sure Algo Trading remains enabled.
  • Avoid changing parameters without testing them first.

Historical backtest results do not guarantee future performance.

8. Strategy Tester

The EA can also be tested using the built-in MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.

Open:

View → Strategy Tester

Select:

MSB Pro Dynamic Risk EA

Then select the desired symbol, timeframe, testing period and deposit size.

For more reliable comparisons, use the same settings when comparing different tests.

A separate guide will cover the backtesting methodology in more detail.

9. No SET File Required

The EA is designed to be straightforward to start with.

The default parameters provide a starting configuration, so an external SET file is not required for the initial setup.

Users who want to experiment with alternative parameters should test all changes in the Strategy Tester or on a demo account before using them on a live account.

10. Support

If you experience an installation or configuration problem, please check:

  • Whether the EA is installed correctly.
  • Whether Algo Trading is enabled.
  • Whether the correct trading symbol is available from your broker.
  • Whether trading is currently allowed for the selected symbol.
  • Whether the Journal or Experts tabs display an error message.

When requesting support, including the relevant Experts/Journal message and a screenshot can make troubleshooting much easier.
