Why Sarveon puts its buy stop below the resistance, not above it

Most breakout robots do the same thing: they wait for the candle to close beyond a level, then buy the breakout. Sarveon works the other way round. It finds a swing high that price has not taken yet and places a buy stop below it, so the order fills while price is still walking toward the level. The difference is where you end up sitting. A breakout buyer enters after the level is gone, with the move already started and the stop far behind. An order placed under the level fills earlier, the stop is measured from the order price, and the target sits inside the same move. Nine strategies, nine magic numbers Sarveon is not one strategy with nine settings. It runs nine independent ones on the same chart, each with its own entry timeframe, its own swing rule, its own distances and its own magic number. Entries are read from the daily, four hour and one hour charts; positions are managed down to M1. They never add to each other's trades, and none of them averages into a loss. Four ways a position ends The first M1 candle that closes after the fill is read once. If it closes against the position and beyond the fill price, the trade is closed immediately rather than left to the stop. Then break even: once price has moved far enough, the stop goes to the fill price plus a buffer. Then the trailing stop, measured from the order price, so a worse fill does not shift the whole schedule. And a trailing take profit that moves toward the loss side: when a trade turns, the target comes to meet it, so the position can still close at the target instead of running the full distance to the stop. Settings that survive a gold rally Every price distance is multiplied by yesterday's daily open divided by the strategy's reference price. Gold at the level where these settings were measured and gold twice as expensive are different instruments in dollars per point: the same distance in dollars covers a different share of the daily range. The scaling keeps the geometry where it was. What the Strategy Tester says Real ticks from a live broker feed, 100% history quality, 44 085 819 ticks over 3231 bars.
