Welcome to the official documentation and configuration hub for Institutional SMC Robot v1.0! This Expert Advisor (EA) is engineered to automate Smart Money Concepts (SMC) trading by identifying high-probability institutional price action setups across major financial instruments, including XAUUSD (Gold), NASDAQ, Major Forex Pairs, and Crypto.

🛑 Important Quick Setup Notice

Before configuring inputs, make sure to download the optimized .SET files attached directly in the Comments section of the main product page. These presets contain tested risk and structural configurations for different market conditions.

📚 Complete Parameter Manual

1. Core Structure Settings

  • InpSwingN (Default: 5) — Sets the sensitivity for swing high and swing low detection (fractal balance). Lower values increase sensitivity; higher values focus on major structural points.

  • InpBreakOnClose (Default: true) — When enabled, requires candle closes beyond structural levels to confirm a Market Structure Break (BOS/CHoCH).

  • InpMaxBars (Default: 1500) — Limits the maximum historical bars calculated on startup to preserve terminal performance and backtest speed.

2. SMC Visuals & Filters

  • InpShowDashboard (Default: true) — Toggles the live on-screen GUI panel displaying real-time levels and daily performance statistics. Disable during optimization for maximum execution speed.

  • InpFVGColor , InpOBBullColor , InpOBBearColor , InpQMLColor — Color settings for visual charting of Fair Value Gaps, Bullish/Bearish Order Blocks, and Quasimodo Levels.

  • InpUseFVGFilter (Default: false) — When active, restricts trade execution strictly to entries aligned with recent Fair Value Gaps.

  • InpUseOBFilter (Default: false) — When active, restricts entries strictly to valid Order Block retests.

3. Stop Loss & Take Profit Settings

  • InpSLMode — Choose between SL_MODE_FIXED (points-based distance) or SL_MODE_DYNAMIC (placed beyond recent swing highs/lows).

  • InpStopLossPoints (Default: 6200.0) — Fixed Stop Loss distance in points if fixed mode is selected.

  • InpSwingSLBuffer (Default: 100.0) — Additional buffer points added beyond swing points when using dynamic SL.

  • InpTPMode — Select between TP_MODE_FIXED (static target) or TP_MODE_DYNAMIC (calculated using Risk:Reward ratio).

  • InpBaseTP_Points (Default: 500.0) — Fixed Take Profit target in points.

  • InpDynamicTP_RRR (Default: 1.0) — Risk-to-Reward ratio multiplier when using dynamic TP.

4. Trailing Stop Engine

  • InpUseTrailing (Default: true) — Enables the dynamic position trailing engine.

  • InpTrailingStart (Default: 600.0) — Profit distance in points required before activation.

  • InpTrailingLock (Default: 200.0) — Initial profit points secured once trailing activates.

  • InpTrailingStep (Default: 300.0) — Distance in points the Stop Loss moves behind price progression.

5. Position Sizing & Risk Management

  • InpLotMode — Options:

    • LOT_MODE_FIXED : Uses static lot sizes defined in InpFixedLot .

    • LOT_MODE_RISK_LEVEL : Automatically scales lot size relative to account equity divisions.

    • LOT_MODE_PERCENTAGE : Calculates precise volume based on exact risk percentage per trade.

  • InpRiskLevel — Selectable presets ( EXTREME , VERY_HIGH , HIGH , MEDIUM , LOW , VERY_LOW ) for automated scaling.

  • InpRiskPercent (Default: 1.0) — Target risk percentage per trade based on current balance.

6. Prop Firm Risk Guard

  • InpUsePropFirmGuard (Default: false) — Protects evaluation accounts by monitoring equity drawdowns in real-time.

  • InpMaxDailyLossPct (Default: 4.5) — Closes all active trades and halts trading if daily floating/realized losses exceed this threshold.

  • InpMaxTotalLossPct (Default: 8.0) — Maximum cumulative drawdown limit before full account safety shutdown.

🛠️ How to Load .SET Files in MT5

  1. Download the preferred .SET file from the Comments tab on our MQL5 Market page.

  2. Open MetaTrader 5 and attach Institutional SMC Robot v1.0 to your chart.

  3. Open EA settings by pressing F7.

  4. Go to the Inputs tab, right-click anywhere in the window, and select Load.

  5. Select your downloaded file, click Open, and press OK.
