1) Why the EA is taking no trade ?
First of all, make sure that the following are checked :
- Algo trading Metatrader button enabled (must be with the green icon)
- Make sure algo trading is also enabled for the EA (blue icon aside the EA in the left panel just under your account number
- Make sure you set my latest setting file
- Check in the expert tab if there are no errors
- Check in journal tab if there are no errors
- Make sure you have enough money on your account (50$ minimum if you have a 1:500 lever)
If all the points above are okay, then it should not be a problem for the EA to work, but be aware this EA is not a machine gun trader, it takes an average of 75 trades by quarter, #qualityOverQuantity
2) An Order Block is in green but its not taking a trade, why ?
I introduce a status baseline to indicate the current status of the order block, as long as the message is different than trade is ready to be filled, it s not ready yet, and the EA makes some ultimate checking before taking the trade. Use notifications to be alerted when a trade occurs ;)
3) There was a really good opportunity but the EA didn t take the trade , Why ?
If you see some price action occuring and the EA doesn t draw an order block on it, then its not a good opportunity acccording to ICT strategy. Be aware, that the EA can also miss some valid Order Block, its not 100% bulletproof
4) In risk management there is multiple riske percentage, how does it works ?
The risk management system has been designed to raise lot as your account balance is growing, to make as much profit as it is possible ($$$$$$$)
In order to keep it safe, i set 2 account level to calculate a dynamic risk percentage : As long as your account balance is under the first level balance, risk management is calculated with the first level risk percentage ( 30% or 0.03 in settings ). Once your account balance is above the first level balance, it will progressively reduce / raise the risk percentage toward your second level risk percentage ( 1% or 0.01 in settings ). if its above the second level balance, it will stick to the second risk percentage. This way, you can set risk as your account grows
5) Does this EA works with other symbol ?
In theory, yes, but i don t provide supports for others symbol than Gold. It should works with all major forex currency, indexes, all symbols that are manipulated by institutionals. Make your tests before going live on a custom symbol ! :)
