Asian markets start the new week on a positive note, Gold slides below $1220

All the Asian markets are trading on a positive note on Monday after US released positive NFP results but on the other hand, unemployment rate rose to 5.0% vs 4.9% previous release.

Gold remains well supported below $1222 and trading around $1217 marks. Japanese Yen continues to add strength against US dollar and trading around 111.52 marks.

Today Chinese markets will be closed in observance of Tomb Sweeping Day.

Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 index was trading 0.21% higher at 16,197.42 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.10% higher at 1,975.35 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 equity index was trading 0.82% higher to 5040.00 points on Monday afternoon in Sydn<ins datetime="2016-04-04T07:15:09+00:00"></ins>
