AlgoTrade Drawdown Recovery Planner

AlgoTrade Drawdown Recovery Planner shows how far your account is below its high-water mark and the gain needed to recover. It runs on any chart and reads account data only.

What it shows

  • The high-water mark: the highest balance in the account history or the highest equity seen while the indicator runs, adjusted for deposits and withdrawals. You can also enter a custom value.
  • Current equity, the drawdown in money and percentage, and the gain needed to return to the mark.
  • A plan based on your inputs: the steady gain per trading day over a set number of days, and the number of consecutive winning trades at your risk per trade and reward to risk.
  • The gain needed after one more losing trade at your planned risk.
  • The deepest drawdown of your closed trades.
  • A table of drawdowns of 5%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 50%, with the recovery gain for each.

Alerts

  • An alert when the drawdown exceeds your set level (default 10%), and a notification when equity returns to the high-water mark. When the indicator runs on multiple charts, only one alert triggers. Mobile push notifications are optional.

How to use

  • Attach the indicator to any chart. It can run on the same chart alongside an Expert Advisor.
  • Set the number of trading days, risk per trade and reward to risk in the inputs.
  • Click "Fold" to show a single line on the chart, or "Open" to display the full panel.

Inputs: custom high-water mark, trading days, risk per trade, reward to risk, alert level, mobile push notifications, panel corner.
