BBMA Scanner Mhw

BBMA Scanner Mhw is a BBMA (Bollinger Bands + Moving Average) scanner for MetaTrader 5. It draws the classic BBMA lines on your chart and scans seven timeframes at once (M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1) for the main BBMA setups: Extreme, Mhv, CSAK and Reentry. Every setup on the chart timeframe is marked on the candle where it started. The Reentry is the entry signal; Extreme, Mhv and CSAK are early signals that support it. Each Reentry gets a SHORT TP line with its distance in points, and the Strong Signal panel shows when several timeframes agree.
This is the LITE version: BBMA scanner only, without alert notifications. For the PREMIUM version with multiple indicators and signals, see Multi Indi Signal Mhw on the MQL5 Market.

WHAT THE SETUPS MEAN
Only the Reentry is an entry signal. Extreme, Mhv and CSAK are early signals: they show that a move is stretched, losing strength or changing direction, and they support the Reentry that may come after them.
• Extreme: MA5 or MA10 has moved outside the Bollinger Band. Price is overstretched, and the move may be close to its end. Early signal only.
• Mhv (Market Lost Volume): price comes back to the outer band but cannot push further. The move is losing strength. Early signal only.
• CSAK (Strong Direction Candle): a candle that closes beyond BB Mid and both MA5 and MA10. It confirms a new direction, and every Reentry needs a CSAK before it. Early signal / support only.
• Reentry: after the CSAK, price pulls back to MA5 / MA10 and continues in the CSAK direction. This is the ENTRY signal, with its own SHORT TP.
There are two kinds of Reentry:
– Reentry without combo: it appears on one timeframe only, with no support from the neighbouring timeframes. It is marked "High Risk".
– Reentry with combo (Strong Signal): Extreme, Mhv, CSAK or Reentry setups on neighbouring timeframes point the same way. Because it is supported by several timeframes, it is the stronger and more solid entry signal.
MAIN FEATURES
• BBMA lines: Bollinger Bands (20, 2) with BB Mid, MA5 and MA10 (LWMA) on High and Low.
• BBMA Dashboard M1–D1: Extreme, Mhv, CSAK and Reentry for every timeframe in one panel.
• Strong Signal panel: lists a Reentry when at least 3 neighbouring timeframes point the same way with at least 3 different setup types.
• Chart marks: arrow + label at the start candle of each setup: Extreme Top/Bottom (magenta), Mhv Top/Bottom (orange), CSAK Buy/Sell (blue), Reentry Sell/Buy (red / green).
• High Risk label (gold) on a Reentry that comes from an opposite Extreme or Mhv, or that is not part of a Strong Signal.
• SHORT TP line for every Reentry, with points. When the Reentry ends, the line stays with its result: SHORT TP DONE or SETUP FAIL.
• Countdown timer: time left until the current candle closes.
• Pattern Detector: Strong Trend, Moderate Trend or Sideways.
• 3 chart themes (LightSteelBlue, White, Black). Panels move down automatically when One Click Trading is open.
• Works on any symbol: forex, gold, indices, crypto.
HOW TO READ THE BBMA DASHBOARD
• Rows = timeframes M1 to D1. The row of the current chart timeframe is shown in gold.
• Extreme and Mhv: "Top" (red) = sell side, "Bottom" (green) = buy side. When an Extreme and an Mhv are active on the same side, only the Extreme is shown.
• CSAK: BUY / SELL on the last closed candle. Green / red = it closed outside the BB, gold = it closed inside the BB.
• Reentry: BUY (green) / SELL (red). Gold = High Risk Reentry.
• "-" = no setup. "..." = data of that timeframe is still loading.
• BLOCK (orange) = the same timeframe shows a BUY and a SELL setup at the same time. Avoid that timeframe until the conflict ends. A Reentry that was BLOCKED stays cancelled until a new CSAK appears.
STRONG SIGNAL PANEL
• Shown under the BBMA Dashboard, for example "SELL Reentry M5 (3 TF)". The entry is the Reentry on that timeframe.
• Needs at least 3 timeframes in the same direction, next to each other and including the Reentry timeframe (a group with M1 spans at most M1–M30; other groups at most 5 timeframes, e.g. M5–H4).
• Those timeframes must hold at least 3 different setup types out of Extreme, Mhv, CSAK and Reentry, and one of them must be the Reentry. Only 2 types (e.g. Reentry + Mhv + Mhv, or Reentry + CSAK + CSAK) is not a Strong Signal.
• Setups shown as BLOCK do not count, and the entry Reentry must not be BLOCK.
• A gold line = that Reentry comes from an opposite Extreme or Mhv (High Risk).
• "No Strong Signal" = no timeframe group meets the rules at the moment.
SETUP RULES
• Extreme Top (sell side): MA5 or MA10 High goes above BB Top for only 1–2 candles within the last 8 closed candles. If it stays above BB Top for 3 or more candles (momentum), the Extreme forms on the first candle, from the 3rd candle onward, that closes back inside the BB. When the BB is rising or expanding (over the last 3 candles BB Top rose, or the BB width grew, by more than 10% of the BB width), the Extreme candle must be a bearish candle that closes inside the BB; when the BB is flat or contracting, any candle counts. Cancelled when price touches BB Bottom, a later candle closes above BB Top or above the body of the extreme candle, two candles in a row close above BB Top, a candle after the label closes above both MA5 High and MA10 High, or price reaches the higher-timeframe MA5/MA10 Low. Extreme Bottom (buy side) is the mirror.
• Mhv Top (sell side), two types:
– Type 1: a candle touched BB Top within the last 7 closed candles, the higher-timeframe candle touches its MA5/MA10 High without any of the last 4 higher-timeframe candles closing above both, and price is below the higher-timeframe BB Mid.
– Type 2: a rejection candle touches BB Top and closes back below it. When BB Top is rising, the 2 candles before it must also have closed inside the BB.
Cancelled when price touches MA5/MA10 Low (target reached), a candle after the Mhv candle closes above both MA5 High and MA10 High, or price keeps pushing up right after the Mhv candle (two higher closes while BB Top rises). Type 1 also ends on its higher-timeframe rules, type 2 also ends when a candle closes above BB Top. A candle that cancels an Mhv is never a new Mhv. Mhv Bottom (buy side) is the mirror.
• CSAK BUY: a candle closes above BB Mid, MA5 High and MA10 High. CSAK SELL is the mirror. A candle that is also an Mhv candle counts as Mhv, not as CSAK.
• Reentry Buy: after a CSAK BUY (within the last 50 candles), price pulls back and touches MA5 or MA10 Low without closing below both, with MA5 Low above MA10 Low and without touching BB Bottom. No candle between the CSAK and the reentry candle may close below both MA Lows, and the reentry candle may not close above both MA Highs. It stays valid until a candle touches MA5/MA10 High (target reached), a candle closes below both MA Lows (failed), a CSAK SELL appears, or price touches BB Bottom. Reentry Sell is the mirror.
• SHORT TP (Reentry only): SELL = the nearest MA5/MA10 Low below the Reentry candle close, BUY = the nearest MA5/MA10 High above it. M1 and M5 use MA shift 1, M15–D1 use the live MA (shift 0). The target can only move closer to the entry, never farther away. Points = distance from the Reentry candle close to the SHORT TP. When a candle wick touches the line (live candle included), it becomes SHORT TP DONE.
• SHORT TP result: when the Reentry label disappears, the line stays (dotted) with "SHORT TP DONE: xx pts" if the target was reached, or "SETUP FAIL" if it was not. It is removed when a later candle makes a new label on that timeframe. The result is kept when you change timeframe; if a Reentry ends while the indicator is not running, no result is shown.
HIGH RISK LABEL
A gold "High Risk" line can appear on a Reentry: above "Reentry Sell", below "Reentry Buy". The Reentry cell on the dashboard is gold as well. It means this Reentry has a higher chance of failing than a normal one.
• From an opposite Extreme or Mhv: in the move the Reentry comes from (from its CSAK candle to the reentry candle) there was an Extreme or an Mhv on the other side. For a Reentry Sell: MA5/MA10 Low went below BB Bottom, or a candle touched BB Bottom and closed back above it. For a Reentry Buy: the mirror at BB Top. A new CSAK after that move resets it.
• No Strong Signal: the Reentry is not part of any Strong Signal combo.
Extreme, Mhv and CSAK are not entry signals, so they never get the High Risk label. Use them as early signals and as support for the Reentry. Extreme and Mhv also warn you not to enter in the opposite direction.
• How to use it
– Prefer a Reentry without the label that is listed in the Strong Signal panel.
– For a High Risk Reentry, consider a smaller lot size or wait for extra confirmation.
– Use the SHORT TP line as a quick first target.
HOW TO USE
1. Attach the indicator to one chart (M1 to D1). The dashboard and the Strong Signal panel scan all seven timeframes; chart marks and the SHORT TP line are drawn for the chart timeframe.
2. Check the Pattern Detector for the main trend.
3. Enter only on a Reentry, in the trend direction. A Reentry listed in the Strong Signal panel (combo) is the stronger signal. A Reentry with the High Risk label is weaker.
4. Use Extreme, Mhv and CSAK as early signals: they show where a Reentry may come and which direction the other timeframes support. Do not enter on them alone.
5. Skip any timeframe marked BLOCK.
6. Use the SHORT TP line as the first target. SHORT TP DONE = target reached, SETUP FAIL = the Reentry ended before reaching it.
7. Always use your own stop loss and money management.
INPUT SETTINGS
01 – DISPLAY
• Chart Theme: chart background colour (LightSteelBlue, White, Black).
• Show Dashboard Pattern: show / hide the Pattern Detector panel.
• Show Dashboard BBMA: show / hide the BBMA Dashboard, the Strong Signal panel, the chart marks and the SHORT TP line.
• Show BBMA Indicator: show / hide all BB and MA lines (the dashboard keeps working).
• Show Countdown Time: show / hide the time left until the current candle closes, next to the live candle.
• BB colour / MA5 colour / MA10 colour: line colours.
• Line width: thickness of the BB and MA lines.
02 – BBMA SETTING
• BB Period (20), BB Deviation (2.0), BB Applied price (Close).
• MA Fast period (5), MA Slow period (10), MA Method (Linear Weighted), applied to High and Low.
• Max bars to draw (0 = all): limits how many bars of BB / MA lines are drawn.
The dashboard, chart marks and SHORT TP use the same BBMA settings. The default values are the standard BBMA settings.
NOTES
• The indicator does not open, modify or close trades.
• Setups start on closed candles; some cancel rules also use the live candle. A setup and its chart mark are removed as soon as its cancel rule is met.
• On first attach, "..." may show for a few seconds while MetaTrader loads the history of the other timeframes.
• The countdown shows "--:--" when no new candle arrives (market closed).
• Trading involves risk. Past setups do not guarantee future results.
