BBMA Scanner Mhw

BBMA Scanner Mhw is a BBMA (Bollinger Bands + Moving Average) scanner for MetaTrader 5. It draws the classic BBMA lines on your chart and scans seven timeframes at once (M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1) for the three main BBMA setups: Extreme, Mhv and Reentry. Every setup on the chart timeframe is marked on the candle where it started, together with a SHORT TP line and its distance in points.
This is the LITE version: BBMA scanner only, without alert notifications. For the PREMIUM version with multiple indicators and signals, see Multi Indi Signal Mhw on the MQL5 Market.
Please leave a review after downloading. Your feedback helps me improve this indicator, and the more feedback I receive, the more often I will update it.
MAIN FEATURES
• BBMA lines: Bollinger Bands (20, 2) with BB Mid, MA5 and MA10 (LWMA) on High and Low.
• BBMA Dashboard M1–D1: Extreme, Mhv and Reentry for every timeframe in one panel.
• Chart marks: arrow + label at the start candle of each setup (Extreme Top/Bottom, Mhv Top/Bottom, Reentry Sell/Buy).
• High Risk label: on every Extreme and Mhv setup, and on a Reentry that comes from an extreme (MA outside the band).
• SHORT TP line with points, marked DONE when price reaches it.
• Pattern Detector: Strong Trend, Moderate Trend or Sideways.
• 3 chart themes (LightSteelBlue, White, Black). Panels move down automatically when One Click Trading is open.
• Works on any symbol: forex, gold, indices, crypto.
HOW TO READ THE BBMA DASHBOARD
• Rows = timeframes M1 to D1. The row of the current chart timeframe is shown in gold.
• SELL = Top setup (Extreme Top, Mhv Top, Reentry Sell). BUY = Bottom setup (Extreme Bottom, Mhv Bottom, Reentry Buy).
• "-" = no setup. "..." = data of that timeframe is still loading.
• BLOCK = the same timeframe shows a BUY and a SELL at the same time. Avoid that timeframe until the conflict ends.
SETUP RULES
• Extreme Top (SELL): MA5 or MA10 High goes above BB Top for only 1–2 candles within the last 8 closed candles (3 or more candles = momentum, not Extreme). Cancelled when price touches BB Bottom, a later candle closes above BB Top or above the body of the extreme candle, two candles in a row close above BB Top, or price reaches the higher-timeframe MA Low. Extreme Bottom (BUY) is the mirror.
• Mhv Top (SELL): price has touched BB Top, the higher-timeframe candle rejects at its MA5/MA10 High without closing above both, and price is below the higher-timeframe BB Mid. A second type is a rejection candle at a flat or contracting BB Top. Mhv Bottom (BUY) is the mirror.
• CSAK BUY: a candle closes above BB Mid, MA5 High and MA10 High. CSAK SELL is the mirror.
• Reentry Buy: after a CSAK BUY, price pulls back and touches MA5 or MA10 Low without closing below both, with MA5 Low above MA10 Low and without touching BB Bottom. It stays valid until price touches MA High, a candle closes below both MA Lows, a CSAK SELL appears, or price touches BB Bottom. Reentry Sell is the mirror.
• SHORT TP: SELL = the nearest MA5/MA10 Low below the signal candle close, BUY = the nearest MA5/MA10 High above it. M1–M15 use MA shift 1, M30–D1 use the live MA (shift 0). The target can only move closer to the entry, never farther away. Points = distance from the signal candle close to SHORT TP.
HIGH RISK LABEL
Some setups get an extra gold label on the chart. It means the setup trades against strong recent price action, so it has a higher chance of failing than a normal setup.
• Extreme and Mhv (always High Risk)
– "High Risk Sell" is shown above "Extreme Top" / "Mhv Top".
– "High Risk Buy" is shown below "Extreme Bottom" / "Mhv Bottom".
These setups form at the outer Bollinger Band against the current move (counter-trend). They are useful as a warning not to enter in the opposite direction, but taking them as a trade carries more risk.
• Reentry (High Risk only when it comes from an extreme)
– "High Risk" is shown above "Reentry Sell" or below "Reentry Buy".
– Reentry Sell is High Risk when, in the move it comes from (from its CSAK candle to the reentry candle), MA5 or MA10 Low went below BB Bottom.
– Reentry Buy is High Risk when, in the same move, MA5 or MA10 High went above BB Top.
The move before this reentry was overstretched outside the band, so price can pull back strongly and the reentry may fail. A Reentry without the label is a normal Reentry.
• How to use it
– Consider a smaller lot size or wait for extra confirmation.
– Use the SHORT TP line as a quick first target.
– The label disappears together with its setup when the setup is cancelled or ends.
– The label is shown on the chart timeframe only; the dashboard is not changed.
HOW TO USE
1. Attach the indicator to one chart (M1 to D1). The dashboard scans all seven timeframes; chart marks and the SHORT TP line are drawn for the chart timeframe.
2. Check the Pattern Detector for the main trend.
3. Look for a Reentry in the trend direction on your trading timeframe and confirm it with the higher-timeframe rows.
4. Treat Extreme and Mhv as counter-trend, High Risk setups. They also warn you not to enter in the opposite direction.
5. Skip any timeframe marked BLOCK.
6. Use the SHORT TP line as the first target. DONE means the target has been reached.
7. Always use your own stop loss and money management.
INPUT SETTINGS
01 – DISPLAY
• Chart Theme: chart background colour (LightSteelBlue, White, Black).
• Show Dashboard Pattern: show / hide the Pattern Detector panel.
• Show Dashboard BBMA: show / hide the BBMA Dashboard, the chart marks and the SHORT TP line.
• Show BBMA Indicator: show / hide all BB and MA lines (the dashboard keeps working).
• BB colour / MA5 colour / MA10 colour: line colours.

02 – BBMA SETTING
• BB Period (20), BB Deviation (2.0), BB Applied price (Close).
• MA Fast period (5), MA Slow period (10), MA Method (Linear Weighted), applied to High and Low.
• Max bars to draw (0 = all): limits how many bars of BB / MA lines are drawn.
The dashboard, chart marks and SHORT TP use the same BBMA settings. The default values are the standard BBMA settings.
NOTES
• The indicator does not open, modify or close trades.
• Setups are based on closed candles. A setup and its chart marks are removed as soon as its cancel rule is met.
• On first attach, "..." may show for a few seconds while MetaTrader loads the history of the other timeframes.
• Trading involves risk. Past setups do not guarantee future results.

I have used this indicator on the BTCUSD pair. It provides clear signals and timing for every re-entry might wish to take. This indicator is highly useful for BBMA traders.
