Risk Calculator and Order Lines calculates position size from your chosen risk and places orders from the chart. Set the entry, stop loss and take profit using draggable lines, then review the volume and estimated outcome before confirming the order.
Risk can be entered as a percentage of balance, a percentage of equity or a fixed amount in account currency. The panel displays estimated risk and reward in money and percent, the reward to risk ratio, required margin and spread cost. A separate input accounts for round-turn commission per lot.
The entry line determines whether an order is a market, limit or stop order. Select Buy or Sell to set the direction. In Market mode, the entry follows the current Ask or Bid. Moving the entry line switches to automatic order type selection.
Volume is rounded down to the symbol's volume step. If the minimum volume exceeds the risk budget, the order is blocked. The calculator checks margin and can reduce the volume when the available margin is insufficient. On MT5 netting accounts, an existing position on the symbol blocks a new order to prevent the utility from combining it with that position.
Order confirmation requires a second click within ten seconds. Changing the direction, risk or order lines cancels confirmation. The panel also shows point value, minimum and maximum volume, volume step, stop distance and swaps. English and Russian interfaces and light and dark panel themes are available.
This is a manual trading utility. Estimated risk depends on the specified prices, commission and current conversion rates. Execution price, gaps and actual trading costs can change the realised result.
Enter commission as the cost of opening and closing one lot in account currency. The Ask/Bid entry already incorporates spread in the entry-to-stop calculation; spread cost is displayed separately.
Version 1.01 includes the calculator, draggable order lines, risk modes, order confirmation, symbol information and panel settings. Changing the chart symbol resets the order lines to prices appropriate for the new instrument. This release is for MetaTrader 5.
