Pro_Multi_Timeframe_SR_Zones.mq5 — Description
A multi-timeframe support/resistance (S/R) indicator for MetaTrader 5. The name is Pro_Multi_Timeframe_SR_Zones. It draws support and resistance price zones (rectangles) on the chart, found on 8 higher timeframes, with lines in the center of the zone, strength labels (hits), and control buttons. The file header states "Version 6.02 (Enhanced)," and #property version states 6.07.
What the indicator does
Scans 8 higher timeframes: M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, W1, MN1 (only those older than the current chart timeframe).
Searches for local extremes (pivot points): highs for resistance, lows for support in the InpSearchRadius window.
Builds a zone around each point with a width of the point (points) or the ATR of the corresponding timeframe.
Merges adjacent overlapping zones of the same timeframe, removing duplicates between timeframes (in favor of the higher timeframe).
Counts "hits"—how many bars in the last InpHitsLookback have crossed the entire zone.
Sorts zones by hits (then by timeframe seniority), taking the maximum (InpMaxZones).
Draws rectangles from the zone's start time to the current bar, a dotted line in the center, and labels for the strongest zones (InpMaxLabels).
Shows the nearest levels above/below the price in the info label.
Can issue an alert when a level is broken (InpAlertZone option), with protection against repeats between rebuilds. Calculation logic ( OnCalculate )
New bar → full zone rebuild ( RebuildZones ).
ATR mode and elapsed time ≥ InpRefreshSec → periodic rebuild (zone width "breathes" with volatility).
Rest of the time → only a slight update of zone edges to the current bar and breakout checking ( UpdateZoneEdges ) — no full recalculation.
Output — rates_total , indicator without buffers ( indicator_buffers 0 ), all rendering via graphical objects.
Chart controls (buttons)
SR — show/hide zones.
FILL — enable/disable rectangle filling.
ALL — enable/disable all timeframes at once.
M5…MN1 — 8 colored buttons, timeframe switches.
