Sentinel Gold Battlefront is an Expert Advisor designed specifically for XAUUSD. It combines eight independently configured execution domains with a separate account-wide control layer for position sizing, trading restrictions and risk protection.

Each strategy container produces and manages its own trades using its own settings. Account-wide controls can override new entries or apply protection across the complete Sentinel system.

Execution Architecture

Sentinel treats every strategy as a separate execution domain. A strategy's signal logic, stop loss, take profit, breakeven, trailing and time-window behaviour are controlled by that strategy's own available inputs. Enabling or changing one strategy does not intentionally change another strategy's signal logic.

Above the strategies is a separate account-wide layer. These controls can block entries, restrict exposure or close trades when the configured protection conditions are met.

Account-Wide Protection

• Maximum spread entry filter
• Minimum projected margin level after entry
• Optional single-trade mode
• Optional limit on concurrent positions in floating loss
• Trading-day and trading-session filters
• Christmas pause and configurable Friday close controls
• USD news entry filter and optional news profit protection
• Optional global breakeven and false-breakout response controls
• Optional prop-firm mode with daily and overall loss limits, daily reset handling and configurable close-on-breach behaviour

These controls reduce or restrict activity according to the selected settings. They do not remove trading risk or guarantee compliance with any broker or prop-firm rule set. Compare every setting with the current rules of your own provider.

Position Sizing

Choose one account-wide sizing method:

• Fixed Lots — applies the selected fixed base lot size
• Risk % of Balance — calculates the base volume from account balance, stop distance and the symbol specifications supplied by the broker

Calculated volumes are normalised to the broker's permitted lot step and limits. Always confirm the resulting volume and monetary risk on a demo account because contract specifications can vary between brokers.

Important: Athena includes optional Double Lot After Win and Triple Lot After 3 Consecutive Losses controls. Both are disabled by default. Prop-firm mode can be configured to disable this escalation. Enabling either control can materially increase exposure and drawdown.

Command Dashboard

The Sentinel dashboard provides a live operational view of the system, including:

• Individual strategy state, profit or loss and current drawdown
• Account balance, equity, free margin and margin level
• Current open and pending engagements
• Trading status and spread condition

News Calendar Behaviour

The news controls scan USD events because Sentinel is designed for XAUUSD. They use the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar in live and demo terminals where calendar data is available.

The MetaTrader Strategy Tester does not provide this calendar feed, so the live calendar filter is bypassed during tester runs. News-filter behaviour must therefore be checked on a demo terminal before live use.

• Hedging account recommended for full multi-strategy independence on the same symbol
• A stable VPS is recommended for continuous operation

Broker symbol names, spreads, stop levels, contract sizes, execution conditions and server time can affect results. If your broker uses a suffix or prefix, attach Sentinel to that broker's XAUUSD instrument.

Before Live Trading

Start with the default settings on a demo account until you customise the strategies to your individual trading style.
