# OXXSAR - The Fortress Guardian

## Overview
OXXSAR is a fully automated trading system built for **AUDCAD on the M5 timeframe**. It waits for price extremes confirmed by several indicators, then manages each position with a recovery grid and closes profitable groups to secure gains. Buys and sells are handled independently (free hedging).
Version 3 brings a new entry engine and a complete capital-protection layer, re-validated on real tick data from 2010 to 2026.

- **Earlier exit near the stop** - when the drawdown approaches the Equity Stop, baskets are closed with a smaller target, which limits the loss
- **Free risk setting** - Risk_Pct is a percentage of the balance (1 % recommended)

Out-of-sample decade 2010.01.01 - 2020.01.01 at the default 1 % (10 000 CAD account): +18.4 % per year, max equity drawdown 39.0 %, 3354 trades, 5 Equity Stops. This decade includes long trending phases (2012-2013) that are hard for any grid system: expect flat or losing years.
Above 1 %, the Equity Stop triggers several times and the drawdown jumps to about 47 %, without a proportional gain in growth. **1 % is the recommended setting.**

## Input Parameters
- **Risk_Pct** - risk per grid as a % of the balance (default 1)
- **Magic** - identifier of the EA's orders; keep the same value after an update to resume open orders
- **MaxDrawdown_Pct** - Equity Stop level, % drawdown from the equity peak (default 25, 0 = off)
- **ES_Reprise_Heures** - pause in hours before trading resumes after an Equity Stop (default 24)
- **ES_Max_Par_An** - maximum Equity Stops per rolling year (default 2, 0 = no cap)
- **Cible_Couplee** - earlier basket exit when the drawdown approaches the Equity Stop (default true)
- **Show_Visuals** / **Show_TargetLines** - dashboard and target lines on the chart

## Installation Guide
1. Buy or rent the EA, then install it from the **Market** tab of your MetaTrader 4 terminal
2. Open an **AUDCAD** chart and set the timeframe to **M5**
3. Drag **Oxxsar** from the Navigator onto the chart and keep the default inputs
4. Allow algorithmic trading and make sure the AutoTrading button is active
5. The dashboard "OXXSAR FORTRESS" appears on the chart (it is switched off automatically on a VPS)
