1. Key Logic: Trend-Following & Divergence for AUDCAD M1 and M15, No Grid, No Martingale.
The key logic is to follow the major trend and/or the divergence of higher timeframes and look to enter on the lower timeframes. If the market is still moving forward, Koala EA will look to add some limited positions in the same direction. This is completely different from the "No Brain" counter-trend adding positions of Grid/Martingale EAs.
Each order has its Hard Stop Loss level (Hidden Mode).

To test the absolute robustness of Koala EA, we ran a "Blind Test" by selecting "Trade both Buy & Sell" simultaneously, without applying any macro trend filters. Please attach the EA to AUDCAD M1 and M15 Chart and set the parameters thereafter.

9. Potential False Bar on Lower Timeframe:
9.1 What is False Bar?
Due to the quality of Liquidity Providers, "False Bars" on lower timeframes are very popular for AUDCAD and NZDCAD, especially on M1 and M15 Timeframes. False Bar = a candlestick that clearly differs from the market price and quickly disappears.
Koala EA needs very accurate data feed. False Bars will challenge its logic significantly.
9.2 How to deal with False Bar
Run Koala EA on Tickmill's Demo account, then use Local or Remote Trade Copy EA to copy the trades to your live account with your own trusted Brokers.

11. FAQ: Is News Filter available?
We do not use any News Filter for Koala EA. We never use News Filter in any of our trading systems.
Firstly, the most important reason is that Koala EA takes a completely different, institutional approach: we constantly conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of the market.
For Full-time Traders: For any event and/or economic data with potentially significant impact, we'll close Koala EA, observe patiently, and re-initiate trading when the dust settles.
For Part-time Traders: Even during important risk events that may cause a major directional reversal, without any intervention, Koala EA can still operate well. During the 18 years' tick data backtest, we did not use any News Filter. The performance of Koala EA is still solid. This could well prove that Koala EA can work well in any complex market conditions.
However, we believe that appropriate manual intervention can further boost performance and reduce drawdown.
Secondly, based on our experience, all News Filters currently used by EAs in the market come from interfaces of some forex news websites, deciding whether to trade based on their High/Low labels. The forex market is vast and profound, far beyond the deep understanding these news websites can provide.
Thirdly, if any news data release adversely affects the trading of an EA, then we would have to consider whether there is some flaw in the logic of that EA.
For most "No Brain" Grid/Martingale EAs, very small market fluctuations can directly receive a margin-call, so News Filters are especially necessary for them. But even so, being stopped out is only a matter of time. Because there are many unexpected factors causing higher market volatility, besides pre-scheduled important news data releases, central bank unexpected decisions/announcements, potential geopolitical risks, highly asymmetric volume in the market over short periods, month-end rebalancing, etc., can all cause large price volatility. This is also an important reason why these "No Brain" EAs will inevitably being stopped out sooner or later.
