It has been 10 days since starting live trading. It's simple. After entry, profits are often taken using trailing stops, with an average of about two entries per day. When holding unrealised losses, It cannot exit until the position recovers, so I set and use a stop loss at 30 pips. Other unclear points, likely due to the lack of documentation, include whether the same magic number should be used for all four currency pairs (I changed it manually) and the need to adjust the auto-lot value for Japanese yen accounts. I've noted this down for anyone considering purchasing it. I believe it's an excellent product that made me realise there's no need to buy an EA costing over $1000.
The loss is too big, 10 times the loss
The default setting does not have a stop loss setting.
I set my stop loss to 76 pips, but my profit was only about one-tenth of that, so my losses were larger and my account was always in the negative. Of course, if you set a smaller loss, your win rate will be lower.
Initially, I faced some issues with order execution. Although the problem wasn't caused by the EA itself, it appeared to be related to the broker — most likely due to slippage — as trades weren’t opening properly. After switching to ICMarkets, trade execution began to flow smoothly. I'm currently in the second week of testing, and running in conservative mode, the EA delivered a return of approximately 1.5% last week, which I consider reasonable, especially with a controlled drawdown in the range of 3% to 4% of the capital. I’ll continue monitoring and will share further feedback in the coming weeks.
