Pressure Book is a MetaTrader 5 indicator designed to monitor tick-based price movements and display estimated buying and selling pressure in a customizable on-chart panel.
Inspired by Time and Sales and tape reading tools, it organizes price movement information into a clear visual interface, helping traders observe short-term market activity, movement sequences, and directional changes in real time.
Key Features
Estimated Buy and Sell Pressure
Monitor upward and downward price movements through separate visual columns. Green and red colors help distinguish buying-side and selling-side price movement estimates.
Real-Time Tick Monitoring
Process incoming market ticks and display detected price movements in a continuously updated panel.
Movement Points Filter
Set a minimum points threshold to filter out price movements that do not meet your selected criteria.
Price Movement Highlights
Configure two independent highlight levels to identify movements that reach your chosen points thresholds.
Movement Sequence Analysis
Define the minimum number of consecutive movements and the required points per movement. Optional sequence conditions allow you to analyze accumulated points and changes in the sequence.
Customizable Panel
Choose between single-column and two-column layouts, adjust the displayed information, and configure the panel to suit your chart and trading workflow.
Alerts and Notifications
Configure alerts for supported movement conditions and enable push notifications when the corresponding conditions are met.
How It Works
Pressure Book analyzes tick price changes and classifies upward and downward movements using its configured calculation rules. It then organizes the results into a visual panel with movement information, accumulated directional values, and configurable detection conditions.
The indicator can help traders monitor short-term price behavior and identify movement patterns that may deserve further analysis.
Important Information
Pressure Book measures estimated directional price movement. It does not represent a true exchange order book, Depth of Market, or verified aggressor volume. Its classifications should not be interpreted as confirmed executed buy and sell volumes.
Results depend on the available tick data, the trading symbol, the broker's feed, and the selected indicator settings.
Pressure Book is an analytical tool, not an automated trading system. It does not guarantee trading results and should be used alongside your own market analysis and risk management.
