Angora Pattern Recognition

Angora Patterns finds, draws and tracks chart patterns for you. It recognises 23 classic chart patterns, 8 harmonic patterns and 13 candlestick patterns, and gives every pattern a breakout level, a target, an invalidation level, a state and a quality score.

Chart patterns: Double Top and Bottom, Triple Top and Bottom, Head and Shoulders, Inverse Head and Shoulders, Rounding Top and Bottom, Ascending, Descending and Symmetrical Triangle, Rising and Falling Wedge, Rectangle, Ascending and Descending Channel, Broadening patterns, Diamond, Bull and Bear Flag, Bull and Bear Pennant, Cup and Handle.

Harmonic patterns: Gartley, Bat, Butterfly, Crab, Deep Crab, Cypher, Shark and 5-0, drawn with their X, A, B, C and D points, an entry level, a target and a stop.

Candlestick patterns (optional): Engulfing, Harami, Hammer, Shooting Star, Morning and Evening Star, Three White Soldiers, Three Black Crows and more. They are shown only at swing highs and lows, so the chart stays clean.

Built on closed candles, never repaints. The candle that is still forming is never used. A pattern drawn on the chart does not move or disappear later. Only its state changes: COMPLETED, CONFIRMED, INVALIDATED, EXPIRED or FAILED BREAKOUT. What you see on history is what you would have seen live.

Levels for every pattern. The breakout level (neckline or boundary, sloped when the pattern is sloped), a measured-move target once the breakout is confirmed, and the invalidation level where the pattern no longer holds.

Score from 0 to 100. The score shows how closely a pattern matches the textbook shape: structure, geometry, symmetry, volume, trend context and breakout strength. Use Minimum Pattern Score to hide weak patterns.

Confirmation your way. Choose one close beyond the level, two closes in a row, or a close followed by a retest that holds. Volume confirmation is optional.

Alerts. Popup, sound, push notification to the MetaTrader mobile app, and email. Alerts are sent when a pattern is confirmed, and optionally when a new pattern appears or a breakout fails.

Pattern panel. Active patterns are listed in the chart corner, best score first.

Early warning layer (optional). Shows the price zone where the next swing would complete a pattern. These zones are marked FORMING and kept separate from finished patterns.

Higher-timeframe context. Every pattern is tagged with whether it agrees with the trend on two higher timeframes of your choice. Patterns against that trend can be hidden.

Pattern statistics. See how each pattern type behaved on the chart's own history: how often it appeared, how often it broke out, and whether price reached the target or the stop first.

Clear labels. Choose full two-line labels or compact one-line labels, and set the font size. Labels that would overlap are stacked automatically.

Works on any symbol and timeframe. All tolerances are measured in ATR, so the same settings fit forex, indices, metals and crypto. Every pattern can be switched on or off. Colors, labels and levels can be changed.
