Smart Adaptive Trend Flow MT5 has been developed to provide a clear view of the current market condition by combining several analytical components in one tool:

The objective is to reduce the need for multiple separate indicators and provide trend direction, structure, volatility and market activity within the same visual context.

Adaptive Trend Engine

The core of the indicator uses an adaptive trend engine that adjusts its response according to changing market conditions.

Unlike a conventional moving average with a fixed response speed, the adaptive core can react differently as price behavior and market momentum change.

The trend is displayed directly on the main chart through a dynamic line and visual trend area:

Green: Bullish regime
Red: Bearish regime

Trend colors, fills and other visual elements can be customized from the indicator settings.

The system also incorporates volatility filtering so that every small movement around the adaptive core is not automatically interpreted as a trend reversal.

Trend Change Arrows

When a transition between bullish and bearish regimes is confirmed, Smart Adaptive Trend Flow MT5 plots an arrow directly on the chart.

These arrows make it easy to identify historical points where the engine confirmed a change in market regime.

A bullish arrow identifies the confirmation of a new bullish regime, while a bearish arrow identifies the confirmation of a new bearish regime.

The arrows should not be interpreted by themselves as automatic Buy or Sell orders. They represent confirmed changes in the trend state calculated by the indicator and can be used together with market structure, volatility, Flow analysis and the trader's own methodology.

Closed-Bar Confirmation

An important characteristic of the system is that regime changes are confirmed using closed candles.

The indicator does not require future price information to place a historical trend change at a point where that information was not yet available.

The currently forming candle can naturally change while it remains open, but a new historical trend transition requires the corresponding confirmation from the system.

This allows historical regime changes and arrows to remain stable once confirmed.

Structural Price Levels

In addition to determining market direction, the indicator continuously analyzes market structure.

Smart Adaptive Trend Flow automatically identifies relevant confirmed pivots within the context of the active trend regime and creates horizontal structural price levels.

These lines provide a visual map of price areas that may remain relevant to the market.

Structural levels can be used as references for:

• Structural support
• Structural resistance
• Relevant highs and lows
• Price areas that remain unresolved
• Levels that may later be revisited
• Levels subsequently reached or swept by price

There is no need to manually draw these levels. The indicator detects and manages them automatically.

What Do the K and M Values Mean?

Each structural level can display its exact price and the activity recorded around its formation.

For example:

158.420 | A 24.70K

The first value represents the structural price level.

The letter A means Activity and represents the tick activity accumulated around the price structure that generated the level.

Values are automatically abbreviated:

K = thousands
M = millions

It is important to understand that this value does not represent pending orders at that price or actual resting order-book liquidity.

It represents activity calculated from the tick data supplied by the broker around the formation of that particular market structure.

Reached and Swept Levels

Structural levels remain visible as the market evolves.

When price subsequently reaches a structural level, the indicator can identify that event and terminate the level at the corresponding point.

This makes it possible to distinguish between:

Unresolved structure and structure that has already been reached or swept.

The user can choose whether previously swept historical levels should remain visible.

This provides an additional way to study how price has interacted with the structures previously detected by the indicator.

Flow Analysis

Smart Adaptive Trend Flow also includes a directional activity analysis module.

During each market regime, the indicator analyzes broker tick activity together with the location of the candle close within its range to estimate directional buying and selling pressure.

The dashboard displays:

Buy Pressure — estimated activity associated with buying pressure.

Sell Pressure — estimated activity associated with selling pressure.

Net Flow — the difference between Buy Pressure and Sell Pressure.

B/S Ratio — the relationship between Buy Pressure and Sell Pressure.

For example, a B/S Ratio above 1 indicates that the activity estimated as buying pressure is greater than the activity estimated as selling pressure during the analyzed regime.

The indicator displays the underlying values and ratio rather than converting them into an artificial probability of price moving higher or lower.

Professional Analysis Dashboard

The integrated dashboard brings the most relevant market information together in a single area of the chart.

REGIME

Displays the currently confirmed market regime:

BULLISH or BEARISH

together with the number of bars for which the current regime has remained active.

This makes it possible to distinguish quickly between a recent transition and a trend that has already been developing for many candles.

MARKET VALUES

The dashboard displays several values directly related to current price behavior:

Price
Current market price.

Adaptive Core
Current value of the adaptive reference used by the trend engine.

Distance
Actual price distance between the market and the adaptive core.

ATR
Current volatility value used by the indicator.

Expansion
Shows how far price has moved away from the adaptive core in ATR units.

For example:

Expansion: 1.35 ATR

means that the current distance from the adaptive core is approximately 1.35 times the reference ATR.

This is a market measurement, not a probability or confidence percentage.

Reversal Price

One of the most useful values displayed by the dashboard is the Reversal Level.

Depending on the current regime, it is displayed as:

Bear Reversal

or

Bull Reversal.

Instead of simply stating that the current trend is bullish or bearish, Smart Adaptive Trend Flow displays the specific price level associated with a potential transition from the current regime.

The dashboard also displays:

To Reversal

which represents the current distance between market price and the corresponding reversal level.

This allows the trader to see not only the current market direction but also how far price is from the level associated with a possible regime transition.

Nearest Structure

The dashboard automatically identifies the nearest unresolved structural levels around the current market price.

They are displayed as:

Support
Resistance

together with their exact price and associated activity.

This makes it possible to identify the nearest relevant structure immediately without manually searching through all horizontal levels visible on the chart.

Smart Adaptive Trend Flow has been designed as a flexible market analysis tool for different instruments available through MetaTrader 5.

Market behavior, volatility, spreads and especially tick activity may vary significantly between instruments and brokers.

Smart Adaptive Trend Flow does not force the trader to follow a specific trading methodology.

For example, a trader can first identify the current market regime, then evaluate the distance from the adaptive core and current volatility, examine whether Buy/Sell Pressure supports the movement, and finally identify nearby structural support or resistance levels.
