Not every major loss starts with a wrong market call.
Sometimes the real danger is simply not knowing what is about to happen today.
I once...
On a Friday, I was holding a heavy long gold position, hoping to finish one last trade before the weekend.
I did not realize that it was a U.S. holiday and that the market would close early.
When the market closed, I was still holding the position. When gold reopened, it gapped roughly $60 and moved straight through my stop-loss.
Not because I did not use a stop-loss.
Not because I misread the market direction.
Simply because I forgot what day it was.
ApexForge Trader Safety Dashboard was born from that lesson.
What It Is
This is not a trading-strategy EA.
It does not generate entry signals, predict market direction, or decide whether you should buy or sell.
Its purpose is simple:
Help you see important trading-day risks earlier, and give you a more direct way to act when you decide to exit.
The Risk Dashboard places economic events, holidays, broker trading sessions, and detected early-close information directly on your MT5 chart.
As risk approaches, it can alert you through:
Color changes + Desktop Sound + MT5 Mobile Push
When you decide it is time to exit, the same EA also provides One-Click Close — one button to start closing matching positions without switching windows or closing them one by one.

How Risk Alerts Work
- Normal:
The Dashboard uses its Normal Color (Silver) and stays visually quiet. - Matching economic events, holidays, or session risks detected today:
The Dashboard enters Warning state (Orange). - A major event or detected early close enters the configured Urgent Minutes window:
The Dashboard enters Urgent state (Red). - If Sound Alert is enabled, the EA plays a desktop alert sound. If Mobile Push is enabled, it also sends an MT5 mobile notification.
- Each alert is tracked to prevent repeated Push notifications for the same warning event.
One-Click Close: An Emergency Exit, Not a Decoration
Risk alerts give you time to react.
One-Click Close gives you a direct way to act when you have already decided to exit.
- Close All Account — process matching positions across the account
- Close Current Symbol — process the current-chart symbol only
- Optional Magic Number Filter
- The button displays the total matching lots
- Positions are processed one by one through a queue
- Failed attempts can be retried according to the configured limits
- The retry process does not intentionally block or freeze the EA
- If Algo Trading, permissions or connectivity are unavailable, the close procedure is blocked and the reason is logged
One-Click Close is an execution shortcut. It does not guarantee immediate fills and cannot eliminate slippage, insufficient liquidity, broker rejection or other execution risks.
Who Is This For?

What It Does Not Do

Its purpose is simple:
Put important risks in front of you before they arrive.
Give you a direct exit tool when you decide to close.
Mobile Push Setup
To receive Push notifications, go to:
MT5 Desktop > Tools > Options > Notifications
Enable Push Notifications and enter the MetaQuotes ID associated with your MT5 mobile app.
Then keep Mobile Push enabled in the EA Inputs.
💡 Mobile Push is optional. The on-chart Dashboard and desktop sound alerts can still be used independently.
Important Information
- Economic-event data is provided through the MT5 Economic Calendar.
- Trading-session and early-close detection depend on broker-provided Trading Session data.
- Actual holiday and session schedules may vary by broker and instrument.
- ApexForge Trader Safety Dashboard is a risk-information and trade-management utility, not a profit-guarantee or loss-prevention system.
- It cannot guarantee protection from gaps, slippage, insufficient liquidity, connectivity failures, broker-side schedule changes or other unexpected market conditions.
Final Words
I learned an expensive lesson:
