**QV Pulse — Dual Independent Momentum Grids for XAUUSD (MT5)**
Most grid EAs run one basket and pray. QV Pulse runs two fully independent grids — BUY and SELL — each with its own trigger, averaging, recovery and trailing. BUY never touches SELL. On a price impulse within a short window the EA enters with the move (after a pullback and a sanity filter), averages the side if price runs against it, and recovers a stuck leg by closing it together with same-side winners for a net-positive bundle. No directional prediction, no news to read — structured recovery on the instrument that ranges hardest: Gold.
**How it works**
- Momentum trigger per side (sensitivity + time window) — a real burst, not a fixed schedule.
- Pullback refinement — no chasing the top/bottom of the impulse.
- Independent spaced averaging per side, up to a configurable cap; the two sides never share orders.
- Per-side recovery — the worst losing leg is closed paired with that side's winners, only if the bundle nets positive.
- Broker-side basket trailing — locks gains once a side reaches target profit.
**Entry filters (on by default)**
Five independent gates limit chasing, block averaging in adverse market phases, and keep entries aligned with the higher-timeframe direction — plus a trading-time window (default London-into-NY, weekends off). Each is documented in the bundled Inputs Reference.
**Risk & sizing**
Risk-based / fixed lots — NOT an exponential martingale. Default preset risks a small fixed fraction per order; switchable to fixed lots or balance-ratio. A hard drawdown handler can force-close the whole book at a chosen equity drawdown. Full status panel on the chart.
**Backtest metrics**
XAUUSD M5, RoboForex, 2-month validated window (2026-04-05 -> 2026-06-05), control-points model, 20-pt spread, default preset:
- Profit Factor: 2.56
- Max Drawdown: 11.86%
- Win rate: ~86%
- Trades: 1,301
Extended real-tick run (Model=8, YTD 2026 + OOS 2025) is pending and will be posted on the Comments tab once the Freedom Pro FX team completes it. Net profit scales with deposit and chosen risk %, so the ratios (PF, DD%) are the honest headline numbers.
**What you get**
QV_Pulse.ex5 (MT5), one ready-to-use XAUUSD M5 preset, bilingual (RU + EN) manuals, lifetime updates, direct support on the Discussion tab.
**Requirements**
MetaTrader 5; XAUUSD (Gold), M5 timeframe; minimum deposit $3,000 standard or $300 cent; leverage >= 1:100 (1:500 recommended); ECN/Raw broker with competitive XAUUSD spread (<= 30 pts average).
**Not a Holy Grail**
QV Pulse will have drawdowns. Grid recovery wins often and small, and occasionally sits in a deep open basket. If your deposit cannot survive a multi-leg open series, you are at the wrong capital size. Never run live without at least 30 days of demo forward testing on your broker.
