RSI Cross MA Pro is a fully automated trading expert for MetaTrader 5 that combines the precision of RSI indicator level crosses with a Moving Average (MA) trend filter. The robot implements an advanced "exit from overbought/oversold zones + confirmation by the 50 level" strategy, and also supports position averaging, trailing stop, and break-even functions. This solution is suitable for traders seeking a reliable system with flexible risk management settings.
Key Features
-
Dual Indicator Strategy: A combination of the RSI oscillator (period, 28/72 levels, 50/30/70 entry levels) and a trend filter based on a Moving Average (MA). This allows for filtering out false signals in a sideways market and entering only in the direction of the trend. All levels are adjustable.
-
Smart Entry Logic:
-
The robot waits for a cross of the overbought (72) or oversold (28) level.
-
After that, it looks for a re-cross of key levels (50, 30, or 70) for a precise market entry. These levels are adjustable for specific currency pairs.
-
-
Averaging Mode: When this function is enabled, the expert can add to the position with a second order using an increased lot size (multiplier is adjustable) when the price reaches a second level (e.g., a repeated bounce from 30).
-
Comprehensive Risk Management:
-
Fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit (in points).
-
Trailing Stop to protect profits (separately for single positions and for the averaging grid).
-
Automatic break-even activation for positions upon reaching a specified profit level (for averaged positions).
-
-
MA Filter: An option to allow entries only in the direction of the trend, as defined by the moving average (price above/below MA).
-
Information Panel: Displays current RSI and MA values, filter status, and signal waiting flags directly on the chart.
How It Works
RSI Cross MA Pro analyzes the market at the close of each new bar.
-
Zone Detection: The robot identifies the moment when the RSI exits the oversold zone (crosses the 28 level upwards) or the overbought zone (crosses the 72 level downwards). A vertical line is drawn on the chart, and an internal flag switches to "entry waiting" mode.
-
Entry Point Search:
-
For a BUY position: If an exit from the oversold zone occurred previously and the RSI crosses the 50 level (or 30, if the second level is configured), a Buy position is opened. These levels are adjustable for specific pairs.
-
For a SELL position: If an exit from the overbought zone occurred previously and the RSI crosses the 50 level (or 70), a Sell position is opened. These levels are adjustable for specific pairs.
-
-
Filtering: If the MA filter is enabled, the signal is accepted only if it aligns with the trend (for Buy – price above MA, for Sell – price below MA).
-
Trade Management: After opening an order, the robot monitors the position using Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Trailing Stop (if enabled). In averaging mode, an additional order may be opened upon reaching the second levels (30/70). These levels are adjustable for specific pairs.

Important Risk Warning
Trading on financial markets involves a high level of risk. RSI Cross MA Pro is a tool for strategy automation, but it does not guarantee profit. The use of the averaging mode can lead to accelerated loss growth during adverse market movements. Before using it on a live account, be sure to conduct thorough testing on a demo account and optimize the parameters for your chosen instrument. Do not risk capital you are not prepared to lose.
