Risk & Safety
Each trade is opened with predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels, which remain unchanged after execution for clear and consistent risk control.
One of the key advantages of trading around well-defined Support and Resistance levels is the possibility of placing the Stop Loss relatively close to the invalidation point of the setup. This can create opportunities for a favorable Risk/Reward Ratio when market conditions allow.
Max Daily Loss Limit => built-in daily protection that automatically stops trading once the configured loss limit is reached.
Total Drawdown Limit => additional protection measured from the highest balance / equity peak.
Filters & Trade Control
SnR Market Analysis => automatically calculates recent important Support and Resistance levels, displays them directly on the chart, and evaluates potential breakout and rebound opportunities around these areas.
Advanced Market Filters => additional filtering logic evaluates current market conditions before allowing a Support or Resistance setup to be traded.
News Filter => uses 2 economic calendar sources, with important news displayed directly on the chart.
Spread Filter => prevents new trades when the spread exceeds the allowed value.
Max Trade Holding Time => automatically closes trades that remain open beyond the configured time period.
Settings
Stop Loss and Take Profit are configured through the Risk/Reward Ratio parameter. Please note: unlike many other EAs, changing SL and TP values in Edge Boost Pro will affect the number of trades. Setups with SL and TP levels that do not match current Support and Resistance structure and market conditions are automatically ignored.
Magic Number => unique EA identifier. Use a different Magic Number when running multiple instances on the same symbol.
Markets & Accounts
Designed for all Forex pairs and Gold.
Compatible with both Hedging and Netting account types.
Low leverage requirements => can operate even with 1:30 leverage, although 1:100 and higher is recommended.
Recommended Pairs
Edge Boost Pro is designed to work with all Forex currency pairs and Gold, giving you the flexibility to diversify Support and Resistance trading across multiple instruments.
Broker and Leverage
Edge Boost Pro is not highly broker-sensitive, so you may use any broker you consider reliable. Lower spreads and stable execution conditions are preferable, especially when trading around precisely defined Support and Resistance levels.
Recommended leverage is 1:100 and higher. 1:30 is also supported.
VPS
Edge Boost Pro can be used with both the MQL5 VPS solution and a regular VPS with desktop access, allowing you to keep the EA running continuously.
What to Expect
Approximately 3-5 trades per pair per week, depending on market volatility, the selected instrument, the availability of valid Support and Resistance setups, and your EA settings.
The EA may trade either a breakout through an important level or a rebound from it, depending on the surrounding market conditions and confirmation from its internal filters.
This is not a "get rich quick" system. Edge Boost Pro is designed around disciplined execution, clearly defined market levels, and controlled long-term trading.
