VolumeRotor Pro — Final Product Description (with News Guard™)
This indicator displays real-time market volume on each timeframe so traders can quickly spot trending vs ranging markets and act with confidence. It visualizes where volume is flowing (Buy vs Sell), measures trend strength, and wraps it all in a clean, modern UI designed to be read at a glance.
What it does
- Real-time volume analysis on your current chart (M1…H4+).
- Buy% vs Sell% split from tick-volume, plus Edge% = Buy% − Sell% to gauge momentum instantly.
- Signal engine suggests BUY / SELL / WAIT using EMA(50/200) + ADX confirmation and your Edge threshold.
- At-a-glance UI: AI Donut gauge, MTF heatmap, session shading, and a stats footer (ATR, spread, signal age).
What’s new — News Guard™ (Built-in MT5 Economic Calendar)
- Auto currency detection from the chart symbol (majors: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, NZD, CAD, CHF).
Non-FX like XAU, XAG gracefully show “No calendar”. - Nearest-event countdown with impact label:

How it works (under the hood)
- Tick-volume is partitioned into buy/sell using the close’s position within the bar (vs high/low).
- Edge% captures the immediate buy/sell imbalance.
- EMA(50/200) + ADX (Wilder) provide trend & strength confirmation.
- Signals refresh on a timer (default 60s) and also update with ticks.
- News Guard™ reads the MT5 Economic Calendar, converts event time to your chart/server time, and renders a live HH:MM:SS countdown and shading.

Recommended workflow
- Scan strength: ADX tile + Edge% (≥ ~6–10% often marks meaningful push).
- Confirm alignment: MTF heatmap’s dominant color (green ≈ buy tilt, red ≈ sell tilt).
- Trigger: wait for BUY/SELL (not WAIT) with ADX above your threshold.
- Respect News: check the countdown and shaded windows; avoid fresh releases unless that’s your strategy.
- Risk: use the footer ATR for quick stops/targets.
Notes & limitations
- Uses tick volume (standard in MT5). Broker feeds differ; focus on relative changes and confluence with price/MA/ADX.
- Signals are real-time; conservative traders may prefer bar-close confirmation.
- The Economic Calendar requires Enable news and a broker/build that supports the feature.
