Promex is a unique Expert Advisor that trades when there is a strong deviation of the price from the normal value. By opening trades at the moment when it is very likely to move in the opposite direction the Promex Expert Advisor accompanies it with a short trailing stop, thus collecting a small profit from the market, but with a probability of 95%.

The Promex Expert Advisor works on a strategy that is allowed to trade in 100% PROP Firm. Promex sets StopLoss and TakeProfit in each trade, does NOT use martingale, averaging and hedging strategies. This is why Prop firm is friendly to this expert advisor.

Prop Controller

For a safer and more comfortable completion of Prop Firm Challenge, the Expert Advisor has a built-in module that controls the drawdowns of the entire account. In order not to exceed the specified drawdown and not to lose your account, you can set the levels of critical drawdowns in the settings of the Expert Advisor and the Expert Advisor will close all trades on the account if the drawdown is close to critical. The Expert Advisor will also close all trades and stop if the set profit level is reached.

But you can freely trade the Expert Advisor on a regular account, there are no restrictions on trading. 

News filter

For safer trading, the Expert Advisor uses news filter and stops trading in periods of important news releases, to prevent you from opening a trade when the market is likely to go in one direction without corrections.
Important!!! The news filter does not work in the strategy tester, so the real trading results will be better than the results you will get in the strategy tester. 

News are downloaded automatically from the MetaTrader news channel.

Parameters of the Expert Advisor

Money Management – sets the type of order lot calculation
  • Fixed lot – each trade is opened with a fixed lot, which is set in the Fixed lot parameter.
  • Risk per transaction – for each trade the lot is calculated in such a way that you do not lose more than the specified percentage of the balance (the percentage is set in the Risk per transaction parameter).
Aggressive – setting of the aggressiveness of trading
Backspacing – indent for placing a pending order (set as for 4-digit quotes)
TakeProfit – Take Profit size (set as for 4-digit quotes)
StopLoss – StopLoss size (set as for 4-digit quotes)
Trailling-stop Enable – enables high-performance trailing stop
StopLoss distance – distance from the stop to the price when trailing stop is working
Minimum trailing profit – at what minimum profit the trailing stop starts working
Pause on the news – enable pause of trading before and after the news
News Symbols – news symbols 
Prop Challenge Enable – enable Prop Controller
Prop daily drawdown – sets maximum drawdown for the day (set the value to 4.8% to avoid accidental slippage over 5%).
Prop maximum drawdown – maximum drawdown relative to the starting balance (set the value to 9.8% to avoid accidental slippage over 10%).
