AudCad Grid Pro is a grid (averaging-down) + hedge-lock automated trading system, purpose-built for the AUDCAD (Australian Dollar / Canadian Dollar) pair on the 30-minute (M30) timeframe.
Key features:
- Regime-switching logic that detects ranging vs. trending conditions and adapts its entry approach accordingly
- A hedge-lock mechanism that locks a losing position with an opposing hedge trade to manage risk while the market recovers
- A balance-step lot table that automatically scales lot size to your account balance (enabled by default, and currency-aware so it works correctly on both JPY and non-JPY accounts)
- Only one input parameter (Lot) — simply attach it to an AUDCAD M30 chart and it runs
Backtest results:
Historical testing shows a Profit Factor (PF) of 2.57 (see the Screenshots tab for test conditions). Past results do not guarantee future performance.
Recommended environment:
- Symbol: AUDCAD
- Timeframe: M30
On-chart manual controls:
- BUY/SELL buttons with a lot-size field (+/- buttons adjust in 0.01 steps) let you place manual orders at any time
- Manually placed orders are automatically recognized and managed by the EA — nanpin follow-up and take-profit logic apply just like the EA's own basket
- The "Manual-Close" button toggles this auto-follow/auto-close behavior on or off at any time. Turn it off to fully control the manual position's exit yourself
- The "Auto / Trend Fixed / Counter Fixed" buttons let you manually lock the regime-detection mode (normally automatic)
- The "Auto-Lot" button toggles the balance-based lot scaling feature directly from the chart
- Balance, floating P/L, max drawdown, and today's/this week's/this month's/this year's profit are all shown live in the top-right panel
- Broker: an ECN/Raw-type account with tight spreads is recommended
Risk notice:
This EA uses grid (averaging) and hedge-lock logic, so drawdowns can become large during sharp or extended market moves. Please trade only with capital you can afford to risk and use appropriate money management.
