# OFJ Gold Meridian
OFJ Gold Meridian is a rule-based multi-strategy Expert Advisor developed exclusively for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5. Instead of depending on one trading idea, it coordinates seven independent engines inside one EA, combining multiple timeframes and five different strategy families under one controlled portfolio-risk budget.
## Seven engines, one coordinated portfolio
The portfolio contains:
- two M15 engines: breakout and volatility transition;
- two M30 engines: momentum and volatility;
- two H1 momentum-acceleration engines;
- one H4 volatility-transition engine.
Each engine evaluates completed candles on its native timeframe. Several engines may hold positions at the same time, each with its own magic number, Stop Loss and Take Profit. The EA does not use martingale, grid recovery or loss averaging.
## Controlled aggregate risk
The user selects one Risk Level for the complete portfolio:
- Level 1: 0.50%
- Level 2: 0.75%
- Level 3: 1.00% (default)
- Level 4: 1.50%
- Level 5: 2.00%
This is the maximum aggregate protected-risk budget, not risk multiplied by seven. The budget is distributed among the engines using fixed internal weights, and the EA checks both engine allocation and total portfolio exposure before opening a position.
## Research and robustness process
The constituent strategies were developed with separated historical phases. Candidate generation and parameter selection were performed on TRAIN data. Additional historical periods were kept outside development and used as reserved validation stages. The seven-engine portfolio has five represented families and an average pairwise correlation of 0.22 in the archived research evidence.
The final branded EA was compiled without errors or warnings and executed twice in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester using real ticks. Both runs produced the same deterministic ledger: 128 entries, 127 exits, all seven engines active, and exact agreement with the previously certified portfolio artifact.

## Live information panel
The on-chart panel displays:
- all seven engines and their native timeframes;
- ACTIVE, OPEN or waiting status;
- open profit or loss by engine;
- total open and accumulated closed profit or loss;
- weekly, monthly and six-month summaries;
- selected risk level and maximum aggregate risk;
- current spread and monitoring state.
