RealOneGold trades gold (XAUUSD) with four independent strategies in one EA. Each strategy has its own magic number, position limit, stop loss and take profit, so they work side by side without interfering.

The four strategies

  • Trend (M15): follows the trend when the moving averages agree and ADX confirms a strong trend
  • Breakout (H1/H4, M5/H1): enters when a faster timeframe breaks both its previous bar and the last bar of a slower timeframe
  • Asian Range Breakout (M15): trades the break of the Asian-session range during the London and New York hours
  • NY Intraday Momentum: enters in the direction of the day's move in the New York afternoon and closes the same day

How it trades

  • Every trade has a stop loss and take profit set from ATR
  • Adaptive trailing stop for the Trend, Asian Range Breakout and Breakout strategies
  • No grid, no martingale, no averaging down
  • Position limits per strategy and for same-direction positions

Filters and risk controls

  • One switch (Use Advanced Filter) turns on volatility regime, loss-streak pause, spacing and no-chase filters
  • Optional news filter based on the MT5 economic calendar
  • Fixed lot or risk % of equity per trade
  • Optional equity target, max drawdown, daily drawdown and daily profit target

Backtest (XAUUSD, 2023.08–2026.08, 100% real ticks, fixed 0.01 lot, 10,000 USD)

  • 2,188 trades, net profit +7,252.70 USD, profit factor 1.54
  • Maximum equity drawdown 3.19%
  • About 59% of the profit came from January–March 2026, a period of high gold volatility. Outside that period the profit factor was 1.27. Please read the results with this in mind.
