QuAI Basket Stress Lab

QuAI Basket Stress Lab is a MetaTrader 5 risk-analysis utility designed for basket, grid, averaging and recovery strategies.

The tool does not open, close or modify trades. It simulates a complete basket before it is traded and shows how exposure, floating profit/loss, margin requirements, equity, free margin and margin level can change as additional levels are added.

Main Functions

Custom Lot Ladder

Enter the exact volume sequence used by your strategy.

Example:

0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05, 0.07, 0.09, 0.12, 0.16, 0.22

This makes it possible to analyze fixed grids, progressive recovery structures and martingale-style sequences.

Adjustable Grid Distance

Define the adverse distance between basket levels in points.

The utility calculates the projected market price for every level of the basket.

BUY and SELL Stress Scenarios

Analyze:

• a BUY basket while price moves down;

• a SELL basket while price moves up.

Real Broker Specifications

Calculations use the current MetaTrader account and symbol environment.

The utility reads information such as:

• minimum lot;

• maximum lot;

• lot step;

• account leverage;

• account currency;

• broker Stop Out level.

This makes it possible to see how the same basket structure can behave differently between brokers.

Capital Simulation

Use the current account equity or enter a custom amount of capital.

This allows the same basket to be tested against different account sizes.

Level-by-Level Stress Table

For every basket level, QuAI Basket Stress Lab calculates:

• requested lot;

• effective lot;

• simulated stress price;

• cumulative volume;

• floating P/L;

• required margin;

• projected equity;

• projected free margin;

• projected margin level;

• risk status.

Each level is classified according to the simulated account condition.

Safety Margin Level

Define the margin level that you consider acceptable for the strategy.

The utility identifies the first basket level that falls below this threshold.

This allows you to distinguish between a basket that technically fits into the account and one that still has an adequate margin reserve.

Projected Stop Out

QuAI Basket Stress Lab estimates the basket level at which the simulated account reaches the broker's Stop Out condition.

The calculation uses the Stop Out settings reported by the current MetaTrader account.

Recommended Capital

The utility estimates the capital required to maintain the selected safety margin level throughout the simulated basket.

This can help answer questions such as:

"How much capital would this basket need to reach all planned levels while keeping a 200% margin level?"

Broker Volume Compatibility

The utility checks whether each requested lot size complies with the current symbol's:

• minimum volume;

• maximum volume;

• volume step.

An incompatible lot ladder is clearly identified.

Optional Broker Lot Adjustment

Invalid volumes can either remain unchanged for compatibility analysis or be adjusted to the broker's permitted volume rules.

This makes it possible to compare the intended basket with the structure that the broker would actually allow.

Final Shock Test

An additional adverse price movement can be simulated after the last basket level.

This helps evaluate whether the basket still has a meaningful reserve beyond its planned final entry.

CSV Export

The complete stress table can be exported to the MetaTrader 5 Files folder.

The report can then be used for record keeping or for comparing several basket configurations.

6. Define your preferred safety margin level.

7. Review the level-by-level stress table.

8. Check the first unsafe level, projected Stop Out level and recommended capital.

9. Export the complete table if required.
