Account-wide daily loss protection with your own reset time, risk-based position sizing and visual trade management for MetaTrader 5.
Most trading panels are built to help you open a position. Peragon is built to
keep control of what happens after you have opened it.
Peragon Trade and Risk Manager is a complete planning, execution and risk-control
environment for MetaTrader 5. You decide what to trade and when. Peragon handles
everything around that decision: the position size, the visual placement on the
chart, the pre-trade checks, the rule-based management of the open position, and
a layer of account-wide risk supervision sitting above all of it.
Set your own daily reset
Prop firms do not all reset at midnight. Peragon does not either.
Choose the hour your trading day begins and the time zone it refers to. Every
daily figure then follows your setting: the loss limit, the warning level, the
hard stop, the account card and the daily filters in the log. Your numbers line
up with the rules you are actually trading under, instead of with your broker's
server clock.
If the terminal was offline at your reset moment, the basis is reconstructed from
account history and clearly marked as an estimate.
Protection that works across the whole account
This is where Peragon differs most from a chart panel. The first two of these
supervise your entire account — not only the trades you opened through Peragon.
Daily Loss Protection. Monitors your real daily result including open positions,
closed trades, booked commission and swap. It counts manual trades, trades opened
from the mobile app, and trades from other Expert Advisors. Configure a daily loss
limit, a warning level and a hard stop level. When the hard stop is reached, all
positions are closed, all pending orders are deleted, and new trading is blocked —
including positions opened elsewhere, which are closed again for the rest of the
day. You can deliberately release the block for the remainder of the day;
otherwise it clears at your next daily reset.
Margin Level Guard. Separate warning and critical thresholds, with an optional
block on new trades in the critical zone. Existing positions always stay closable —
a protection rule must never prevent you from reducing risk.
News Trading Filter. Blocks your entries a configurable number of minutes before
and after high-impact events, either for all high-impact events or only those
affecting the currencies of the current symbol. The block shows its reason and a
countdown, and cannot be clicked away.
Six ways to size a position
- Percentage of equity or balance.
- Fixed money amount at risk.
- Target profit in account currency at your take profit — a planning figure; the real result depends on fill price, slippage, costs and swap.
- Target money value per pip or point.
- Fixed lot size.
- Target effective leverage against your chosen capital base.
Every method respects broker volume steps, minimum and maximum volume, free margin
and minimum stop distance. Spread and your own confirmed commission can be included
in the calculation. When the size you want is not reachable, the panel tells you
which limit is binding and what the maximum realistic size is.
Plan the trade on the chart
Place the trade visually instead of typing every price. Drag stop loss and take
profit directly on the chart, and the entry too on planned and pending orders —
distances, money amounts, risk-reward ratio and planned volume update as you move
them. On a market order the entry stays tied to the live executable price. Running
positions turn into live blocks showing direction, volume, result in pips and in
money, active automations and one-click management.
Twelve saveable design presets. Full colour control through a 40-colour palette,
recently used colours, and exact HEX, RGB or HSL entry. Separate settings for
planned trades, active trades, pending orders and minimised blocks, including how
sensitive the close buttons should be.
Five coordinated automations
Auto Stop Loss — move the stop to a defined level once a trigger is reached,
including economic break-even that accounts for spread, your confirmed commission
and accrued swap.
Partial Close — up to three profit levels, by percentage or fixed lots.
Risk Trimming — up to three levels of progressive reduction on the losing side,
triggered by distance, share of the way to your stop, money value, or break-even.
Trailing Stop — trigger, distance and step, starting immediately or from a level
you choose.
Time Exit — a timer, an exact local time in your time zone, or a set lead time
before the next matching news event.
All five can be prepared before entry and applied automatically once the order
fills. Combinations can be saved as presets and checked for compatibility before
you apply them to a different trade. States survive a terminal restart, and a
partial level that has already executed will not run a second time.
Command Center: the whole account on one panel
Account card with balance, equity, free margin, open result and today's result.
A table of every open position and pending order across all symbols, regardless of
whether it was opened on desktop, on mobile, manually or by another EA. Sorting,
filters by profit, loss, direction, symbol or automation type — and a filter also
limits the scope of a bulk action, so trades you cannot see stay protected.
Four configurable quicksets for common management actions, bulk editing of stop
loss, take profit and partial closes, mass closes by category, and a partial profit
take across the account at 10, 25, 50 or 75 percent on positions that are currently
in profit and technically eligible.
Oversized positions as one managed group
When the volume you need exceeds your broker's per-order limit, Peragon can build
it as a linked group and manage entry, stops, automations, partial closes and
reporting at group level, with a weighted average entry. The group function has to
be enabled; if a trade would require it while it is off, the preview explains the
situation and offers to switch it on.
Activity Log
A record of what actually happened: market and pending orders with their source
where it is detectable, entry, stop, target and volume; full and partial closes;
broker rejections in plain language; the difference between requested and filled
price; manual stop and target changes; every automation event; and deposits or
withdrawals. Net results include booked commission and swap. Up to 500 entries
over seven days, kept across restarts.
Mobile Trade Manager
Prepare a package on your desktop or VPS: symbol, a unique lot signature, risk
method, stop loss, take profit and any of the five automations. Open a simple trade
from the MetaTrader app using that lot signature, and the running terminal
completes it — adds the protective levels, sizes it towards your target volume,
links the orders where grouping is available, and activates the prepared
automations.
If the target size cannot be reached — because of margin, volume limits or price
movement — you decide in advance what should happen: use the largest size that is
possible, skip the top-up, or close the mobile trade. Requires a running, connected
terminal; this is not cloud execution.
Guided setup
A setup assistant walks through account compatibility, time zone, daily loss levels
and your reset time, trading costs, news source and news filter before you place a
single trade. A product tour explains the main areas of the interface using
examples only — it never opens a real order.
Requirements — please read before buying
- MetaTrader 5. There is no MT4 version.
- A hedging account. Netting and exchange accounts are not supported in this version.
- Algorithmic trading enabled in the terminal.
- Automations require the terminal to stay running and connected. If you want management to continue while your computer is off, you need a VPS.
- The news calendar uses either the built-in MQL5 calendar or Forex Factory, which requires WebRequest permission.
- Push notifications require a correctly configured MetaQuotes ID.
- On first start you will be asked to accept a risk notice. Declining removes the EA from the chart.
Current limits of version 1.0
Stated openly, because they matter more to some traders than any feature above.
- There is no long-term maximum drawdown rule. Protection is daily only.
- Peragon does not simulate whether a planned trade could later breach your daily limit.
- The interface is dark. A freely selectable light mode is not part of this version.
- News functions depend on an external provider. Late, incomplete or unavailable event data can delay or miss a block.
What Peragon is not
- Not a signal provider. It does not tell you what to trade or when to enter.
- Not a trading strategy, and not a promise of profit.
- Not cloud based. Nothing runs while MetaTrader is closed.
- Not protection against gaps, slippage, spread widening or broker rejections. In fast markets a daily hard stop can be exceeded.
- Not a tax statement or an accounting report.
About the developer and support
Ask before you buy — I answer in the comments section of this product. If something
behaves differently on your broker or account type, tell me which broker, account
type, symbol and MT5 build you are using, and I will look into it. I answer in

Trading leveraged instruments carries a substantial risk of loss. Peragon helps you
apply your own rules consistently. It does not reduce market risk and does not make
any outcome more likely. Every trade you place remains your decision and your
responsibility.
