BiasBoyFX Risk Manager
Account protection and trade management for MetaTrader 5.
BiasBoyFX Risk Manager is an account-wide risk management utility designed to help traders apply predefined protection rules consistently.
It monitors daily account risk and trading activity while providing automatic Breakeven and Trailing Stop management for open positions.
The product does not generate trading signals, predict market direction, or open strategy-based trades. Its purpose is account protection and trade management.
Main Features
Daily Equity-Loss Protection
Set a maximum daily loss percentage for the account.
The Risk Manager monitors account equity relative to a qualified daily baseline. When the configured equity-loss threshold is reached, the protection engine enters a blocked state and attempts to:
- Cancel pending orders
- Close open positions
- Prevent further managed activity while the protection condition remains active
Execution is always subject to broker and terminal conditions.
Maximum Trades Control
Set a maximum number of trade entries allowed for the broker trading day.
When the configured limit is reached:
- The protection engine enters a blocked state
- Pending orders are cancelled where possible
- Existing open positions are kept open
The Max Trades condition does not automatically close existing positions.
The utility does not disable MetaTrader's manual BUY or SELL controls. Trades manually opened by the user or created by another trading system may still be submitted by the terminal and can be included in the daily trade count.
Automatic Breakeven
Breakeven management can automatically improve Stop Loss after a position has moved sufficiently in favor of the trade.
Available settings:
Trigger — favorable price movement required before Breakeven becomes eligible.
Offset — additional distance beyond the original entry price where the protective Stop Loss is placed.
For BUY positions, the protected Stop Loss is moved above the entry when conditions permit.
For SELL positions, the logic is mirrored below the entry.
The manager checks broker Stop Level and Freeze Level restrictions before requesting the modification.
Trailing Stop Management
The Trailing Stop module can automatically improve Stop Loss as the market continues moving favorably.
Available settings:
Start — favorable movement required before trailing becomes active.
Distance — distance maintained between the current market price and the desired Stop Loss.
Step — minimum additional improvement required before another Stop Loss modification is requested.
Using a Step reduces unnecessary Stop Loss modifications caused by very small price movements.
For BUY positions, the Stop Loss can improve upward.
For SELL positions, the Stop Loss can improve downward.
The protection logic is designed not to intentionally move an already better Stop Loss backward and increase risk.
Automatic Distance Unit
BiasBoyFX Risk Manager includes automatic instrument classification for distance-based trade management.
For recognized fiat Forex pairs:
PIPS
For non-FX instruments such as many crypto, metal and CFD symbols:
PRICE MOVE
The resolved distance unit is displayed directly on the dashboard.
This prevents Forex pip interpretation from being incorrectly applied to instruments that use direct price movement.
Account-Wide Management
BiasBoyFX Risk Manager is designed as an account-wide protection utility.
Its protection and trade-management modules may manage supported open positions and pending orders across the trading account, including:
- Manually opened trades
- Pending orders
- Trades created by other trading systems
Because the product operates account-wide, use one properly configured Risk Manager instance for the intended account-protection workflow.
Interactive Dashboard
The main protection settings can be adjusted directly from the chart.
Dashboard controls include:
- Daily Max Loss
- Max Trades
- Breakeven ON/OFF
- Breakeven Trigger
- Breakeven Offset
- Trailing Stop ON/OFF
- Trailing Start
- Trailing Distance
- Trailing Step
Changes made on the dashboard are staged first.
They become active only after pressing:
Apply Settings
Use:
Discard Changes
to return the displayed values to the currently active settings.
Settings Validation
The dashboard validates configurable protection limits.
Available Daily Max Loss range:
0.5% to 20.0%
Available Max Trades range:
1 to 100
Daily Max Loss settings above 10% or Max Trades settings above 20 require a second Apply action before the high-risk setting is confirmed.
This additional confirmation is designed to reduce accidental configuration changes.
Saved Settings
Applied dashboard settings are stored per trading account during normal terminal use and can be restored when the Risk Manager is attached again.
Protection Status
The dashboard displays the current state of the protection engine.
Examples include:
Protection Active
The account is currently operating within the configured protection rules.
Protection Blocked
A protection condition has been reached or the system cannot safely continue managed activity.
The associated reason is displayed on the dashboard.
Daily Baseline Safety
Daily Equity-Loss Protection requires a reliable account baseline.
A trusted baseline can be established near the beginning of the broker trading day or when the Risk Manager is attached later while the account is flat and there has been no trading activity for that broker day.
If the utility is first attached after trading activity has already occurred and a reliable daily baseline cannot be established, the system fails safely instead of forcing account liquidation based on an unreliable reference.
For consistent daily protection, attach the Risk Manager before beginning trading for the broker day whenever possible.
Advanced Diagnostics
Advanced Diagnostics are hidden by default to keep the normal dashboard compact.
When displayed, they provide additional information about:
- Protection engine state
- Protection decision and reason
- Account-wide exposure
- Open positions
- Pending orders
- Daily protection state
- Breakeven state
- Trailing Stop state
- Broker waiting conditions
- Previous protection actions
Advanced Diagnostics are primarily intended for troubleshooting and users who want additional visibility into the protection engine.
Installation
- Install BiasBoyFX Risk Manager through MetaTrader 5.
- Attach it to a chart.
- Allow the trading permissions required for position and order management.
- Review the protection settings.
- Press Apply Settings after confirming the desired configuration.
- Keep MetaTrader 5 connected and running while protection is required.
Because the Risk Manager operates account-wide, one properly configured instance should normally be used for the intended account-protection workflow.
Important Information
BiasBoyFX Risk Manager is a risk-management utility, not a trading strategy.
It does not:
- Generate BUY or SELL signals
- Predict market direction
- Guarantee profitable trades
- Guarantee protection against every possible loss
- Replace responsible position sizing
- Replace the trader's own strategy or risk decisions
Market gaps, slippage, connectivity problems, terminal interruptions, broker restrictions, rejected trade requests and other execution conditions can affect protective actions.
Users remain responsible for selecting appropriate risk limits and trade-management distances for their own account, broker, instruments and trading strategy.
Testing the product on a demo account before using it with real funds is recommended.
